The fact Visa have not come back and said No, suggests they are preparing a counter bid. 55p .Mastercard have employed new VP for real-time payments division. They mean it.

Just remember instarem is a front end client service, like worldremit, TransferWise, Western Union but they have their own network. So it's different. Visa could buy loads of players like these and use epi behind it. They complement not replace each other b

Sure. Visa will have many interests. They use to have a share on Monetise, then decided their solution was not for them. They crashed and burned. Epo is not the only player but for b2b payment, banking clients they're on the up.

Hi Cryptotrade, Thanks for clarifying, great post. Are you aware of Visa interest in InstaReM and the connection with SBI Holdings etc? Could Visa be turning their attention to InstaRem instead of Earthport? Can I Private Message you (assuming I can do that on this website) and perhaps we can exchange some ideas? R

Richard,Who knows. If Visa don't counterbid then your risk is 4p loss. If they do then it's whatever the difference is. I suspect Visa are thinking next move. They may not counter bid but it's probable they will only if I force MC to pay more for epo. At this price epo is peanuts. I suspect they want to prepare a better offer but could be a chunky bid. It's your risk. No one knows. As I say, visa may say No further bid and price drops to 33p. That's the risk.

Doubt it. It could be any of the 20/30 companies in the UK. Could be gaming related. ..Who knows.

Cryptotrade, Do you think EPO is still a good investment at 37.5p per share? Could I have your thoughts on this please? R

Try this one.https://www.pymnts.com/legal/2019/rbs-lawsuit-frozen-accounts/The case illustrates the powers held by those who run the payments infrastructure, like utility providers. Would be very interesting to know which UK cross-border payments company was losing a significant amount of money because of this. I am not implying any EPO connection, but it is industry relevant.

Ok not saying this is linked but it's all comimg out now.https://www.ft.com/content/e7d36ed2-24b2-11e9-b329-c7e6ceb5ffdfMake of it what you will, think of the shareholder losses if this was affecting growth for these businesses. We all know dark forces are at play in any industry but this may have been a particularly nasty one.

I wonder if a client was MasterCard to epo providing services to MasterCard.....Visa come along, hence the bid.

I still suspect because of the restatement of figured epo may have been sued. I guess. So visa got the nudge to buy epo out helping all existing shareholders to get out. MC decided to have a go which I'm sure visa thought that would happen. Simple as that.
