05/6/2009 12:13 | was tight about the time, wrong about the movement direction its time the board gave the markets some positive news. | gordonbrown
05/6/2009 11:55 | Hhhhmmm. Was personally hoping for better. No surprise that trading is still difficult - but really thought that the banking facilities would be sorted by now. Haven't results date moved too - from June to July? G. | garth
05/6/2009 08:56 | I'm expecting a jump in the share price around 11.30 once news of the share holder approval is released. I did think that there might be more conversations here today. The circular contains proposals, for which shareholder approval is required, to increase the limit on borrowings imposed by Dyson's articles of association in order to be sufficient for the Group's borrowings requirements and also to ratify any breaches of the borrowings restriction that may have occurred since 31 March 2008. The EGM is to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 5 June 2009 at Buchanan Communications | gordonbrown
05/6/2009 08:35 | All gone quiet here...I wonder what 11am will bring. | hamblyr

02/6/2009 08:17 | Try putting an L in place of the U you will find it makes one L of a dufference. | churchtower
02/6/2009 08:02 | Appauling spread! | ozzmosiz

01/6/2009 19:31 | DYS getting a lot of heat on iii now, I think we will see 30p+ tomorrow. | derekhess
01/6/2009 17:22 | The potential from these levels is huge, onwards and upwards. | derekhess

01/6/2009 14:24 | Another 350K traded so far today on the main market and Plus. | garth
01/6/2009 13:20 | DYS is breaking out, as Garth says I think 40-50p by the end of this week or next is quite possible. | derekhess
01/6/2009 11:15 | garth - your guess is as good as mine. It may be that talks are concluded subject to the passing of the resolution at the EGM in which case it could be announced then. On the other hand the banks may be waiting until they can see the a/cs to 3/09 and the company dare not finalise those without the resolution! I said earlier that the outlook statement will be the most important thing at the prelims. I would add that the second most important will be the cash flow and resulting net borrowings. For the record: Net borrowings at 30/9/08 £35.6m Unaudited max. borrowing allowed by articles 30/9/08 £33.7m Current bank facility max. £49.5m | sharw
01/6/2009 10:52 | 2 interesting posts....we'll know for sure by Friday:-) | sleveen
01/6/2009 10:18 | Sharw, would agree with your points entirely. What I wonder (particularly with the share increase on volume last week) is whether the finance is already sorted - pending agreement of taking on additional debt at the EGM. If that is the case then wednesday would signal not only an EGM agreement RNS but also a conclusion of discussions with banks RNS - ie one of your indicated "significant events for the share price". Any thoughts? G. | garth
01/6/2009 08:54 | garth - EGMs are normally a formality so I doubt whether there will be a short-term effect. If there was any chance that the resolutions would not be passed then the price would have crashed as it was made clear that if they are not then the company will go into administration. The next significant events for the share price will be- a) the conclusion of discussions with the banks b) the outlook section of the preliminary statement (we know the results for last year will be dire). (and not necessarily in that order!) | sharw
01/6/2009 07:45 | Totally agree this is incredibly cheap in relation to medium and long term prospects. | churchtower
01/6/2009 06:40 | The current market cap is equivalent to the profit they made last year.... Will be loss-making this half and probably for the year as a whole - but it gives another indicator of just how low they are. EGM this week to agree increased debt to get them through the recession. With that passed, what price friday? Double where they they start today too optimistic? | garth
01/6/2009 02:58 | This is trading at 20-25% of NAV, even for recession/credit crunch this is ridiculously cheap. I am holding 40k (shares not £££) and will see this to £1 before I think of selling. My opinion of course, DYOR. | derekhess
31/5/2009 18:46 | One year price target of £1.00 | robandkerry
30/5/2009 12:29 | This looks set for a good rise, all the indicators are positive. | derekhess |
