Hi kickstart,

Yes I am in for the long term as well. As you say Muremera is going to be the core of their success.

gconvry,
10p ?? you are having a laugh !-- £10 might be closer. But that would no be until the mine is up and running which could be years away. However as the story unfolds s will the price IMOP. No way will DWY actually do the mining it will have long since been bought by one of the big boys.Possibly Xsastra / Barrick as their Kabanga mine is so close. All DWY need to do is prove up Muremara's value with drilling. Remember the shares have been to 70p 2 years ago before much of the work donee by BHP was completed.

hey debbie, thanks

i did buy more! at 25p on the way now. when i was 3p i just "bottom drawered" it.

doubled my hold yesterday at 7.5p so average is now much lower thankfully

this needs to a jlp or cfm now and not a mwa.

OK, doing some maths on the Xstrata project, assuming that recovered Nickel is as per the percentages described in the text i.e. 2.64% and 2.7%, then the total would be 1,382,772 tonnes and at $14,000 per tonne that equates to $19.4billion. Hmm if we had anything like that then I think the shareprice might get to 10p ;-) On the other hand are my maths and assumptions wrong??

The following post was posted on the PAF bb, you may also wish to view some posts on the DWY iii bb.

The connection between these two is as follows:

Dwyka has spent $750,000 in total drilling a greenstone gold deposit in Swaziland, a tiny landlocked country surrounded by South Africa and Mozambique.

The greenstone deposit is adjacent to AIM-traded and JSE-listed Pan African Resources' operating mines in the Barberton area of South Africa.

Dwyka has a right to increase its stake from 50% to 70% in the SwaziGold project but has yet to commit to that stake because it is developing a gold strategy around the asset. It has pushed back the earn-in schedule with Swazi Gold Ventures to end-June this year to give it space.

"Our objective is to drill up one million ounces by the end of the year, which we can then put together with other gold projects in the region and Africa, where we are looking at other projects," Sturgess told Miningmx in mid-March.

"By June we will have developed our strategy on gold. We'll have defined whether we'll put this into production ourselves or put a few other projects together," Sturgess said at the time, adding the Swazi assets could be in production by mid-2010.

Now if Pan African want an acquisition then when Dwyka completes the Minerva deal then you could certainly see Dwyka being an attractive proposition.

Another good day. I see a steady rise on this one over the next few weeks. Up over 30% now, however to many times I have sold out and banked only a small profit compared to what I could have done had I held. NGL being an excellent case in point for me, I made 4k on that buying and selling twice, but had I held a bit longer I would have made many times that amount and would be a pretty happy chap now.

From Xstrata's website:

The Kabanga nickel project is among the world's most attractive undeveloped nickel sulphide deposits, with a total estimated Indicated Mineral Resource of 23.23 million tonnes grading 2.64% nickel and a total estimated Inferred Resource of 28.5 million tonnes grading 2.7% nickel. The new resource estimate represents a significant increase from the project's initial 2005 estimate (Inferred) of 26.4 million tonnes at 2.6% nickel.

Anyone know what that means in cash :-)

Does anyone know what the value of the Xstrata Kabanga project is in terms of the current nickel price - would be interesting to see what we could have Muremera proved to be a similar size!
