DWF reappointed to Aviva core legal panel

DWF has been reappointed to Aviva's core legal panel. Following this reappointment, DWF will provide a broader range of services to meet Aviva's requirements in England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and globally where required. DWF is one of just four firms to be appointed to this panel, significantly reduced from the previous nine-firm panel.

Glyn Jones, Global Head of Insurance at DWF, said: "We are delighted to have been appointed as one of four core panel firms to support Aviva. This panel reappointment is effective from 1 January 2023 and is for a minimum period of three years.

Today's announcement follows a number of panel appointments secured in the first half of FY23, including QBE, Hiscox and CNA Hardy. DWF has also continued to extend its global insurance capabilities most notably through the completion in December of its transaction with the leading Canadian law firm, Whitelaw Twining.
