No, DKE will not need to raise cash as it will have plenty when the current projects are finalised. Despite taking on more staff it still has very low overheads and will obviously not be paying a dividend. Covid will have delayed any university deals, so patience will be required. It's going to be slow progress, but hopefully worth the wait.

Amazing, Roger you must live in a different world, only I was sure they recently raised with the specific aim of adding to the Senior Management team. The reason for this was the high level of interest in University and Care home deals.
No one can say COVID hasn't affected the timelines on all things, but Wavertree is very close to completion now and West Derby is due for completion in August, both completions lead to a decent financial returns to DKE.
Today's RNS is positive and confirms their previous statements....

project delayed, uncertainty with university deal, new CEO needed to deal with problems. Next step can be easily predicted: RIGHT ISSUE. DKE need more money to cover higher operating cost.

DKE closed up 15.38% on Thurs June 25 on 2.34x normal volume rose above its 50 day moving average, improving its outlook by crossing above that important trendline crossed above its 200 day moving average

Pump crew have disappeared. Let's get back to concentration on the only thing that matters - the university deals. My instinct is that something is near . Mr dart has been very cautious regarding hiring extra people and it is my belief that something material is happening behind the scenes to make this necessary now.

Remember this important statement made last week regarding the rationale behind the fundraise;

Dukemount Chairman Geoffrey Dart said; "The talks we are having with regards to Education and Healthcare have confirmed there is a large appetite for project opportunities within the UK. In order to efficiently execute our plans in these discussions we need to bring in additional staff to move quickly from due diligence talks to project initiation, freeing the board to look at additional opportunities."

Last week finally saw the breakout through the 1p level and today after an initial burst we saw a backtest of that level into the close. Let's see if what was strong resistance, can now turn into strong support. Over 10% of issued shares traded today and that is with 50% not in public hands....
