04/2/2021 18:30 | worth mentioning that 27 new franchises have been opened in turkey in the period november - december. the net new number of franchises is the best indicator of how franchisees are doing, and their confidence in future trading prospects, which bodes very well IMO. | m_kerr
04/2/2021 18:12 | i thought it was an excellent update. more stores (albeit roughly 1% more) and good LFL sales growth in turkey. if the shares are listed in turkey that should trigger index fund buying and that alone should drive the share price higher. and a big one is that the franchisee percentage is higher at about 72%, which increases predictability of earnings and return on capital. | m_kerr
26/1/2021 16:36 | Actually they have 6 times as many stores as DPP. I think they need a change of non execs and chairman as clearly their London representatives are not performing and have paltry holdings | hybrasil
26/1/2021 09:51 | I joined in the investment call at 9 O'clock. I pointed out the company was trading on the same valuation as dpp despite having 4 times as many stores. They are frustrated by the valuation and hence the plan to list on the Turkish Bourse. Very positive about everything. It really depends on the message going out to the investment community | hybrasil
26/1/2021 09:20 | Market going to be slow to catch on, but if that online growth continues, DPEU may well get re-rated. Good luck :) | spectoacc
26/1/2021 07:39 | Specto Welcome. I was getting fed up talking to myself I have been buying over the last week or so And will probably add a few more today It all looks good | hybrasil
26/1/2021 07:28 | "Continued growth in online channels drives robust performance" Could be an under-the-radar online shift for DPEU. | spectoacc
26/1/2021 07:17 | Phew. Even better than expected | hybrasil
25/1/2021 14:43 | Here is hoping that tomorrows trading statement is excellent | hybrasil
22/1/2021 15:56 | AH AH AT LAST someone other than I has bought | hybrasil
22/1/2021 11:27 | I love talking to myself . Might be in terrible trouble. All these trades are me! | hybrasil
21/1/2021 09:22 | Someone bought 100k shares yesterday but again tiny trades. I bought 10k this morning | hybrasil
20/1/2021 13:11 | This is really odd. Virtually no trades. Updated trading statement due due next tuesday I think and based on what they have been saying it has to be good | hybrasil
19/1/2021 13:55 | Seems to be totally unloved - no trade at all really | hybrasil
18/1/2021 16:37 | A £60 million market cap and my trades are the only ones today. Maybe I am very stupid? | hybrasil
18/1/2021 13:34 | Quite weird. My trade is the only one so far today | hybrasil
18/1/2021 11:04 | Have been trying to buy some for days. Eventually had to pay the offer price this am | hybrasil
14/1/2021 14:50 | The TRY to GB pound rate is staying pretty static now which is good news | hybrasil
21/12/2020 16:37 | the 4 million shares are an option, so it's a one way risk free bet. not the same as stumping up his own cash. their core turkish business is market leading and very profitable, and will grow steadily, especially as their competition has been hit very hard from covid. they dominate the market. the problem is the russian business losing money and the turkish lira. my gut feeling, from my experience investing in DOM, is that they will pull out of the russian market (not before losing a shed load of money). what most people forget in turkey, is that double digit inflation means you need to grow by 10% just to stand still. | m_kerr
15/12/2020 09:32 | Doing the numbers here working on the basis that 1 try = .095p this company is really undervalued by the markets. No wonder they are off to get a Turkish quote. I bought some a few weeks ago at .38 and they fell. The really interesting thing is that the strike price of the guy they took on from dominos Australia on his option over 4 million shares is £1.05 I feel you’ll see a really big jump but then I started investing here when they were first listed have followed my money down and my average is about .75p | hybrasil
01/12/2020 17:52 | Will they buy Poland. Ie DPP ? | hybrasil
27/10/2020 19:35 | turkish lira continues to tank. they're boxing with one hand tied behind their back. it's also clear they acquired the russia franchise to sell as a growth story to promote the shares in the IPO. i'm wary about domino's franchises that struggle to make the model work in foreign countries as it has the potential to be a money pit that gets worse and worse. another holding i have is domino's pizza group in the UK, and they wasted maybe £100m in sweden, norway and other markets, making a pigs ear out of exporting the model. it requires local expertise and a tailored approach. in some markets sometimes it's just not viable. we wait and see if they can sort it out. | m_kerr
03/6/2020 06:32 | a very positive update | hybrasil
27/3/2020 10:19 | Decent results | the ghost who walks
27/3/2020 07:36 | This is less dire than I expected, to be honest. It's good news that the Turkish online pizza delivery business is not interrupted, It's continuing as normal and doing very well. "robust like-for-like growth in Turkey experienced in Q4'2019 has continued into the current year." And "in the year to date, the pandemic has had a relatively small impact on the business with the exception of a reduction in dine in business in our Turkish restaurants (although our delivery and take out operations continue as normal). So they are selling alot of pizzas to locked-down families. There are problems in Russia, where they are sacking the management and building a new team. | galeforce1 |
