I have called this wrong so far. However, most of the Domino's Pizza franchises that have listed have done well. This one is confusing given the currency issue. Reports in Turkish Lira but main market for expansion is Russia. Only expected to become reasonable value in 2019 at about 20X earnings.

My punt here is a little offside. I am going to stay for a while unless it falls substantially.

So much information in these results it is hard to judge whether they are good or bad! Currency headwind but the underlying company appears to be well managed. Not much of a share price reaction. Balance sheet is stronger than a year ago so should be able to finance expansion in Russia. Valuation high relative to near-term earnings so this is one to tuck away.

Good growth for 2017 (and 2018 to date) but exchange losses and higher expenses etc.
No idea what the market will think.

I have created this thread as the existing one had no charts. The appeal here is the growth prospects but at the same time the company is in high risk countries: Turkey and Russia. Growth is focused on Russia.

I bought these in June and am up 30 %. Not to be sneezed at. They have a trading statement due on the 23rd (DPP where I have a much bigger stake has theirs on the 9/2)

I have been in dpp for 7 years and this for 6 months. I'm up about 10% in dpp. That says a lot for this share. Im poised to buy more depending on the 23rd.

If you were the vendor in this placing you would be quite happy that you got every last cent!

Unfortunately I was a purchaser

can you add a chart please. Yes £8m to stabilise the price. Is that very bizzare or is it just me. Can't figure out who was selling?

So they had to spend £8 million to stabilise the price?

hybrasil - Yes I remember the Swiss one which failed. It was listed here I think and hyped up by its broker. It is now owned by Domino's UK and they lost £1.3m a year in each of the last two years. Shows that the story doesn't necessarily travel well.

Not sure about takeaway pizza in Turkey and Russia. You have the riskiness of emerging markets.

Maybe put the share price chart in the header?
