Hilarious.

You try to make out that I am the one who pretends to be a legal professional (I have made no such assertion) and then you come out with the above.

Still, what you say about the legal procedures and strategies are largely correct. Just baffling that if you know all this, why you did not apply this advice and criteria to the legal cases you pursued and spectactularly lost against numerous people/organisations.

In 2007/8/9 you acted like a bull in a china shop going against everything you have said above. You even had to be restrained by the judge to prevent you bringing even more court cases.

Perhaps much of the above information was lifted from posts I made when I told you that it would be most unwise to proceed in the way you were before you made a fool of yourself and was dismissed by the judges.

Still, better late to learn something than never. However perhaps it is time to apologise to me for telling me I was wrong in my commentary of your cases when you seem to now accept that I was indeed right.

Why don't you provide links to the judgements you lost several years ago as case studies - so people can see how pursuing cases in court ought not to be done?

As for investment advice - seems like your memory is equally selective and fuzzy. Shall we mention the posts you made complimenting Simon Littlewood and James Holmes (London Asia Capital and Commodity Growth) before they disappeared along with the money of its investors?

How about AFD, CDG and all those other failed mining tiddlers you used to post your snippets of information on under the 50 ADVFN user names you were forced to provide to the court?

I might not be a legal professional or an investment guru but the difference is I don't pretend to be. Likewise I don't troll websites under dozens of IDs and IP proxys like your newly found friends.

Have the decency and good grace to admit all your mistakes and some people on here might even forgive you.

Have a good weekend.

ADVFN will not pass personal details to those who ask. There are exceptional circumstances where they might - the most obvious example by an order from a court.

Too many posters confused about data protection, libel and privacy etc.

If you don't know what you are talking about best not post.

Insofar as a strong worldwide fleet of 787s will help support residual values for the DPA 787s at the end of the lease term, here is some information from the Boeing website as at the end of December.

- a total of 1071 787s have been ordered of which 459 are 787-8s
- of these 459 787-8s ordered 218 have been delivered.
- 43 airlines and leasing companies have ordered the 787-8.

The Avolon link has been updated in the header for the 2014 forecast - here's a Telegraph report on the same theme of strong demand for aircraft to be delivered over the next 20 years.

This bodes well for investment returns from aircraft leasing.

Thanks, looks high risk to me, probably one to keep an eye on in several years time when a likely wind up approached, 10 years in the aviation industry is an awfully long time, tomorrows assets soon become yesterdays castoffs as technology changes, ongoing refits and service costs and the timing thereoff can never be set in stone and airlines can come and go like billeio,

interesting though.

CLA although fantastic inherent value is clearly a you can look but you cant touch avap vehicle and a likely value trap for private investors.

envirovision - the company is incorporated in Guernsey. Tax treatment is the same as GLIF for example. So an individual shareholder resident in the UK for
tax purposes and in receipt of a dividend from the company will, provided they own (together with connected persons) less than 10 per cent of the company, be entitled to claim a dividend tax credit which would extinguish any further tax liability for eligible basic rate taxpayers. (See page 85 of the prospectus).

Dave - thanks, yes I'm aware of CLA and AVAP. I don't hold either at this stage. My interest in DPA (and others such as the Doric Nimrod companies) is that they are structured to provide a high yield.

Interesting so dollar rate to pound is .59

9 cents PA is 5.31 pence, is there any tax on top of that?

You invest quote 61.3p to buy so if no tax yield is 8.7%

Have you looked at CLA -its at a large discount to NAV currently and in the same business?

An attractive 8.6% yield on current prices (ignoring RV). I already have an investment in one of the Doric Nimrod companies (A380s leased to Emirates) and this looks a suitable place to increase exposure to aircraft leasing whilst spreading counterparty and asset risk.

Admittedly as the company is quoted in USD there's also currency risk, though I'm more comfortable with that after the recent strength of sterling.

The company has 2 Boeing 787-8 planes on 12 year leases (to 2025) to Norwegian, the third largest low-cost airline in Europe.

The company is targeting an 11% IRR for shareholders consisting of 9% from quarterly dividends of 2.25 cents with the other 2% from an estimated return of $1.39 per share arising from the sale proceeds from the planes at the end of the lease.

The company listed on 4 October 2013 - Prospectus:

Recent flight history of the 2 Dreamliner planes on lease to Norwegian:

General background on the world airline fleet - forecast growth and expected changes over the next 20 years, together with financing requirements:

In June 2015 the Company purchased an additional two 787-8 aircraft and leased them to Thai Airways on a 12 year lease.
