Posted at 11/4/2002 22:53 by citytraderboy DWA Capital plc - Proposed Disposal/Restoration DWA Capital plc Newstrack Announcements 10/04/2002 DWA Capital Plc (DWA) has signed Heads of Agreement with Voaden Sandbrook Limited (VS) under which, and subject to contract, VS will acquire the entire share capital of David Williamson Associates Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of DWA. The consideration is GBP500,000 payable in cash on completion of the transaction which is expected to be by 30 May 2002. VS was established in 1997 and is a market leader providing consulting services for the minerals and waste management industry. It is based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and has offices in London, Derby and Germany. Four members of the DWA staff will be transfering to VS comprising the minerals and natural resources section of the business. DWA will be changing its name within six months from the date of completion. The transaction is subject to the approval of the Financial Services Authority (FSA). As the transaction does not require shareholder approval DWA Capital has requested that trading in its shares is resumed immediately.
