I am flat and no positions at the moment as cannot work out what the hell is going on with anything. Doesn't seem to be any short term direction only gerneral medium term fed fueled rise up to 10k!

well it looks like we'll just ignore the bad news and get back to chasing overvalued shares higher..comedy market this. flat having covered on dip back looking to start to re-open short 9425 + {god help me}
some big negatives are building here and will come home to roost soon.

I think if the DOW pulls back on the data then Lloy may pull back a couple of points around 97-97.5p. With the obvious resistance of £1.00, at 99p I think lloy is a good tradeable short right now but needs good timing.

Futures picked up again to around the 9400 level. Anyone trading this at the open is a brave man, but with a gun against my head I'd go short.

the consumer isn't willing to or isn't in a position to spend..even with the cash for clunkers stimulus...the us economy can't genuinely recover without him....all stimulus and no underlying pick up.negative.
