You're not the only one Brucie! I watched this one for ages and it got away from me (even more annoying as i understand their product very well as the company i work for uses a competitors product very extensively and we rely on it).

If DOTD is to be acquired, price premium should be more than 100% as the company has £50 million cash, recurring revenue of 94% and profit margin of 20%.

This area with its number of small players is ripe for consolidation - acquire or be acquired.
It has an accumulated cash pile making it well able to do the former or would look a juicy target at the right price. I am slightly surprised that this has not already happened, presumably because potential participants are waiting for the recent murky outlook to clear.
I have considered that the depressed price of the past year over-discounted the future difficulties and acted accordingly.
My earlier target was ~120p but may need to re-evaluate as it approaches.

Not really, not yet. This is the 4th time it's surmounted the 200ma in last six months. But I notice a very similar chart set up with GAMA and somehow wouldn't be surprised if they rise together. Both recovery stories well covered in tip sheets and assorted metrics and looking poised... to recover.

Thanks - a stronger response than some other tips have produced recently and I hope the effect holds.
I concluded after the last guidance and results that this was probably undervalued and acted accordingly. Several other posters above expressing similar views will feel suitably vindicated, so pleased for you all.

Although not particularly large, yesterday's director buy was significant I think, being by the (new) CFO, and being around the upper end of the share's price range for the last 9 months. He's obviously aware of the very latest figures, which gives him a clear view of progress since end of year results (30 June). Bodes well for the new year.
