20/6/2017 08:21 | Investec rating the stock a new sell but raising their t/p from 118.33 pence to 271 pence. | clanger66
20/6/2017 08:18 | Anybody knows why the share price has fallen so sharply this morning?? | mattcookson
19/6/2017 17:41 | Difficult to point too much to the weather short term, truth is all UK domestic focused stocks are struggling for consistency since the election was announced this then got amplified by the election result and consequent impact on the strength of sterling. You can see this from a technical standpoint with only two real levels of s&r in DOM over last two months at 305 short side and 325 long. No need to panic, cream always rises to the top...eventually :) | philbrown29
19/6/2017 17:29 | Swings and roundabouts. ex-CEO Chris Moore had this to say about hot weather back in 2015: "While hot weather does have an impact on our business, sales start to come back after prolonged periods of warmer weather as the lure of the barbecue fades" | robinnicolson
19/6/2017 17:20 | Dog of the portfolio today , my only faller out of eighteen. UT: 500K @ 315.5p | philanderer
19/6/2017 16:40 | I think it's more likely that it just got close to the resistance level... Slowing of consumer spending isn't giving it the momentum it needs to break through. Hopefully the run up to results in July will give it the push needed... but other than that, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of news to surge it forward. | marsdenxjohn
19/6/2017 16:23 | Unfortunately I suspect the recent hot weather will not be good for sales. Maybe some of the reason for the share price weakness today? | robinnicolson
15/6/2017 21:35 | Just read it was the worst day for the FTSE 250 for 11 months. | philanderer
15/6/2017 17:51 | The latest slice of Domino’s Pizza to float on the London stockmarket has been priced at up to £330m ahead of its forthcoming listing. Shares in DP Eurasia N.V, the exclusive master franchisee of the take-away pizza brand for Turkey, Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, are expected to sell for between £2 and £2.30 meaning it will have a market capitalisation of between £291m and £331m. Investors can already buy shares in the £1.6bn Domino’s Pizza Group plc, the overarching company responsible for issuing franchises to companies to run outlets in places including the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Germany. | philanderer
15/6/2017 10:37 | Just standard behaviour from DOM now. The patterns are becoming very consistent with a strong support range of 300-310 and heavy resistance between 325 and 335. We have hit top and bottom of that range on 4/5 occasions in the last 2 months with very little price strength inbetween, only positive is the highs are getting marginally higher over the 4 weeks. Need a catalyst to kick us out this channel.. | philbrown29
15/6/2017 10:10 | As oposed to this morning ! | philanderer
13/6/2017 17:21 | Agree pb. A good day :-) | philanderer
13/6/2017 17:06 | Looking promising, 325 is the target to break for me, it has hit and pulled back twice in the last two weeks at that level and bounces like a pinball after. Fingers crossed we can get through that and then onwards and upwards. | philbrown29
13/6/2017 16:58 | Beginning to break out a bit? | gswredland
09/6/2017 17:51 | Here pb Opportunities for Domino’s investors, says Numis Investors in Domino’s (DOM) have the potential to benefit from the listing of Domino’s Eurasia in the UK next month, says Numis. Analyst Richard Stuber retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 510p on the stock prior to Domino’s Eurasia - which covers Turkey, Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan - listing in the UK on 3 July. He said investors would ‘potentially be able to gain exposure through seven different equity vehicles’ that make up Domino’s and while ‘we only have active coverage of DOM, the peer group’s valuation metrics, adjusted for business mix, support our “buy” recommendation&rsquo Since Domino’s interim results in March shares are down more than 20% but Stuber is focusing on ‘the combination of encouraging updates from the Nordics, comments on progress towards a more efficient balance sheet, and wider investor interest as a result of the imminent IPO’ which should support the share price. | philanderer
09/6/2017 15:16 | Good news, where did you spot that? | philbrown29
09/6/2017 14:30 | Numis reiterates BUY. target 510p | philanderer
07/6/2017 17:03 | Weird times....DOM the best one in my portfolio today. 👍🏼 | philanderer
07/6/2017 16:31 | And off we go again... | philbrown29
06/6/2017 21:19 | Election worries as well, uk domestic stocks in general weaker. Not DOM specific imo. | philanderer
06/6/2017 17:50 | Yeah most of damage done yesterday, absolutely no technical support between 305 and 325 as soon as it gets on a roll in that channel it keeps going. Looking for that reversal before it tests 300. | philbrown29
06/6/2017 17:38 | Most travel and leisure stocks hit..terror related .. broad brush..mid cap index at two week low. | philanderer
05/6/2017 16:12 | Terrible day, can't think franchise ipo news would affect it too much. Maybe just the weak volume driven by Whit Day bank holiday in Europe. Major indices all down 30-40% on volume. 700-750k traded is the lowest amount for over a month...or am I clutching at straws?! | philbrown29 |
