24/1/2011 15:44 | Fillepe, unfortunately come out of AEN as was running 3 or 4 very healthy positions from a respectable entry point. was eager to jump on the recent run from 24.5 ask but was a tad slow when askin 26p on next look so gave up. the fundamentals are healthy there, so a couple of months down the line 50+ is not out of the question. As for DCI, has to be a no brainer. | empirestate
23/1/2011 18:28 | The Times 21st January 2011 Porto Heli is an all-singing all dancing project... Katerina Katopis director of DCI is brimming with EXCITEMENT about her scheme ! Her main concerns are how the marble for the villas will look ! LOL Four of the "30" residences have already been sold ! Priced from 3million euro for a 2 bed apartment - to 6 million euro for four bedroom homes.... and the 1,000 euro a night 7 star hotel will open next year. Last phases will include PRIME beachfront residences costing about 20MILLION euro ! "WE HAVE HAD ALOT OF INTEREST, primarily from people living abroad.....says Katopis..... who is well used to propective clients flying in by helicopter to inspect the site........... are we worried about the impact of economic crisis ? These are not really people who are having any problems" | dicko80
23/1/2011 17:44 | The Aman at Porto Heli is on the east coast of the Peloponnese, near the town of Porto Heli, whose neighborhood in the last 30 years were built with luxurious private villas. The project is the company Dolphin Capital Investors, which owns more than 60 residential projects in Cyprus, as well as 13 major projects in Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Panama. The resort is coming down to the sea on the slopes of the hill, will have its own beach in a quiet bay, a spa, gym and a yoga pavilion, tennis courts, conference room, its own library and art gallery, as well as bars and restaurants. Hotel with 38 pavilions will be built in the first place, by 2012 there will be near the villa: the work on their layout and construction of being an individual basis. The houses will be handed over to owners in two years after the signing of contracts, and because several sites have already been sold, the first villas will be completed simultaneously with the hotel. The area of land for each residence - 4000 or 10 000 square meters. From each villa will offer a unique view - the sea or the olive grove, a panoramic view of the neighborhood. . Prices from 3 million to 20 million euros can count on the highest level of construction, finishing, equipment of each house. .................... "several sites have already been sold" INTERESTING | dicko80
21/1/2011 13:47 | (article from last year, worth re-posting) "We believe the current share price to be completely anomalous, particularly given that the first phases of the four advanced projects were last valued at 77p," | dicko80
21/1/2011 13:00 | "great opportunity for a bargain" "There are lots of opportunities in companies that listed on Aim from 2005-07," says James Burns, investment director at Smith & Williamson. "They are unloved and forgotten and a great opportunity for a bargain." He cites Alpha Tiger Property Trust, whose shares are on a 39 per cent discount, as an example. The company had a number of holdings in Indian property during the boom, causing its share price to hit 25p at the bottom of the market. Yet, Burns points out that its net asset value (NAV) has never been below 100p since 2008. The company has 40 per cent cash on its balance sheet, has withdrawn from some Indian projects and is looking to reinvest elsewhere. Another company he is watching is Dolphin Capital, which invests in resort developments in Greece, Cyprus and elsewhere along the Mediterranean coast. The shares are trading at a 65 per cent discount and Burns admits it is a high-risk venture due to its location. But many of the board members are also large shareholders, which Burns believes gives them an incentive to improve performance. | dicko80
21/1/2011 12:50 | Top 11 Luxury Travel Trends for 2011 11. New Amanresorts - "One of the most interesting themes in Luxury Travel is speculating about where the new Amanresorts and GHM Hotels are being developed," says Christine Gray, Editor-in-Chief of Luxury Travel Magazine. "These trendsetting luxury brands are indicators of where future luxury resort development will occur. For example, Porto Heli, Greece (an area compared to the Hamptons in New York) will be a hot spot in 2011/2012 with the opening of both an Amanresort and a GHM managed hotel." | dicko80
21/1/2011 10:24 | Good morning guys. Somewhere you'll see my very modest 5500 shrs buy, just now, and happy to be back. Bottom drawer lockaway for the wife's account for these DCI's. For interest I was looking for a staight 6000 from Barcs but this would have ment an At Best or Limit order, but they would on-line offer a rather odd amount of 5500. My guess is that's it's very little traded and their auto system has it a bit swtched off. Empire, I'm still in AEN and left you a message a while ago, but guess you aren't there now? All the best f | fillipe
20/1/2011 21:37 | fillipe, good to see u here. looks like the sell pressure is easing. has to be one of the best discount to navs available at the mo. a little bit of buying should let us know if there is any weight on here. | empirestate
19/1/2011 08:35 | totally agree, 25% premium to sp, slight reduction in NAV but project will give greater upside.. Buy limits are quite large though, so maybe a seller in the background | dicko80
18/1/2011 22:04 | feels like this has severely slipped of the radar, the graph looks awful, but good to see the conversion rate at a decent premium on the new bond issue.will be snapping a fair few on the turn here. | empirestate
13/1/2011 17:10 | dire - anyone got a clue or view about this one? | its the oxman
08/1/2011 23:50 | still looking down and out at 40p | its the oxman
17/12/2010 15:48 | yep looks well overdue a rally but a bit of a forgotten stock - got to be worth picking up down here for the longer term if u have the patience. | its the oxman |
