Recently took up a position in DC. at an average price of 177p. Wouldn't mind the share price staying below £2 for a while as I haven't finished buying yet! When I first looked at this in October, I thought it was worth buying up to 220p. With recent news I would probably still buy up to 250p. The reason being that I wasn't overly impressed with the previous management team, but the new CEO sounds like a much more dynamic leader to take the business forward.

No it was a trading update
Plus an extremely UPBEAT conference call - listen to it.
Clearly Sky did not! DC. just said Back Friday is bigger than before and bigger than any one day!
It was an extremely positive call dispelling the gloom hanging over the stock.

Sky have their own mobile business.
There was some short selling last week but rise will be as the market re-examines reduced risk over next few week/months.

Sky news putting as much negative spin as they can. Negative headline with as much negative words they can use in the story.Hidden agenda, but that's the way sky has been, always putting UK down as much as they can.

Decent set of results but all the shorts closing talk is nonsense - they've been closing from 150p and there are barely any short positions declared nowCould steadily rise in the next few weeks

2 things he should look at straight away is accelerated moving of CPW into superstores Seb has been way to slow at this and I would also re name CPW even if they just got rid of the car (Phone warehouse)can't be right to be named after a product that became extinct years ago!

Past few weeks shorters were getting ready for drop in share price Trading is very good and shorters will be forced to closed.Back over 2.00 pronto and will head to 2.50 again.

Why would it drop? The background of retailers struggling during Christmas and failing to hold back Internet sales may well prove to be a positive thing for Dixons with a weak rise in market share on Electricals. Double that with the appointment of an Internet savvy CEO, gives very positive vibes.

I have no position at present, but I am tempted.
