Cancellation of Treasury Shares
Diversified Gas & Oil PLC (AIM: DGOC), the US based owner and operator of natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil wells as well as midstream assets, announces that it has cancelled an aggregate of 13,731,509 existing ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") which were held in treasury as at 30 June 2019, further to repurchases made under the Company's share buyback programme announced on 30 April 2019 (the "Programme").
Following this cancellation of shares, the Company will have 680,437,579 Ordinary Shares in issue including an aggregate of 4,369,049 Ordinary Shares repurchased under the Programme since the beginning of July 2019 and currently held in treasury for cancellation following the month end. Therefore, the total voting rights in DGO as at today's date is 676,068,530. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The Company intends to cancel shares held in treasury repurchased under the Programme on a monthly basis.
