11,000 bopd net at circa $50/bbl equates to $550,000 per day

or

$200 million per annum.

Even allowing a few million here and there for downtime and maintenance costs, thats not at all bad for a company with a market cap around £100m.

I wonder how long it will take before people actually start taking notice. Not at all worried though, as divmad says, just sit back and take the divi and top up as and when.

Happy to have mine locked away and forget about them, until dividend cheques arrive.

Has anyone noticed in the past few days how DGOC share price appears to move out-of-sync to the trades?I.e. When there appear to be buyers, it goes down. And vice versa. Strange.

According to h/l all time intra-day high of 79. Not sure which is genetally accepted as the standard 'all time high' price. Intra-day of closing price?

I completely agree that it is a vote of confidence. I bought in a few months ago. With the dividend on offer and the growth potential I intend to hold long term.

I know it's not massive, but considering what it floated at only recently, and the 70p fundraising even more recently, it's a vote of confidence:

"Diversified Gas & Oil PLC, the US based gas and oil producer, announces that it has been notified that yesterday, Martin Thomas and David Johnson, Non-executive Directors of the Company, have each purchased 33,500 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 74.68 pence per Ordinary Share. As far as I know, DGOC never closed at 79p. Looks more like a closing high of 74.5p.

Hunting down the all-time high which i believe was 79p. Guess the price was held down by fund-raisings, but given the rapidly improving picture should be on course to set new highs

Repeat buy tip in IC this morning. Summary says

The second half will show just how much DGOC can make its acquired assets work, and the indications are that there will be significant operational savings on offer. Given the strong cash generation and fast improving dividend, we’re sticking with our earlier buy tip (58p, 16 Feb 2017).

Re-read the GCI article on this one. They planned a $20M raise to complete the takeover in the Spring but ended up raising $35M in a heavily over-subscibed institutional raise at 70p. Therefore assuming cash is available for further enhancing aquisitions. David Thornton calculated a prospective yield of 7.2% based on a then share price of 72p - using DGOC's stated 40% pay out ratio. At current share price levels the company appears to be a very strong investment proposition.

Being a relative newcomer, may I ask whether, as a small oil and gas company, it unusual that Dgoc have gone for a main-market listing?

Extract from the interims;

"The second half of 2017 promises to represent a step-change in DGO's financial and operational profile as we reap the benefits from the transactions that we closed out in the first half of the year."

Tempting to top-up at today's price

And maybe immigrant labour - hence only dollars per barrel to extract :)

Don't worry about the relative dribble of oil - think about the reserves & very low cost base.

Am i reading that right, 1300 wells producing 743 barrels per day, what they using a hand winch and a bucket on a rope ?

Good point re the IC - they previously liked DGOC.

IC should cover the good news here some time over the next 48h. That should attract more interest. Any improvement in oil prices would also be positive obviously.
