Not read the terms of it, but do they plan to pay it down early, with cashflow?

77/81, and wonder if this deal puts to bed that lingering "why did they list here & not in the US" doubt. Will have been some solid DD done on them.

Given their super low production costs, I imagine they felt the operational gearing would be a positive. I agree though, it's a ball breaking rate for most businesses.

Yes, surprised they didn't raise more in equity, with more available.

Libor +8.25%. That's a real ball breaker. I just hope they've done their sums!

"...Heavily oversubscribed.." at 70p, a very good sign - surely going to come out of suspension this morning at north of that.

Indeed, it does look to be a good deal all round. A placing at 70p is impressive.
I can't find out how much the debt is costing. Have I missed something? High single digit was the last thing I noticed.
One minor pedantic point Speccy, the divi is approx 1.56p (given whatever exchange rate you choose to apply).

Suspension being lifted tomorrow morning, money raised at 70p, impressive. Borrowing $110m so increasingly operationally geared, but for our profits that's no bad thing.

Edit - and a 2p divi soon. Much as I like divis, I'd prob rather they paid down relatively expensive debt instead.

A good write-up indeed. Most encouraging. Cash waiting to add a few more if I can get some at a sensible price when trading starts again.

IC tipped DGOC again today despite the shares still being suspended, pending to purported imminent trading in the very near future.DGOC are undergoing a reverse takeover and IC have reported that the fundraising appears to have been well received.Forward yield 8.7% implying a 101p valuation (Mirabaud)

With the Qatar crisis potentially affecting gas prices, might this provide further upside here when trading recommended later this month?

Diversified Gas & Oil to buy assets from Titan Energy

By Michele Maatouk

Date: Friday 05 May 2017

LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - AIM-listed Diversified Gas & Oil has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement to buy certain gas and oil assets of Titan Energy in the Appalachian Basin, principally the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, southern New York and northeast Tennessee, for a cash consideration of $84.2m.
The company said this would be a "transformational acquisition" that would increase its gross oil and gas production to around 18,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day and its proved developed producing reserves by around 36.7 mmboe to 60.5 mmboe. It added that the new wells would be immediately accretive to earnings.

It said the cash consideration would be funded through a new term debt facility and a proposed placing of new ordinary shares raising at least $20m.

The deal constitutes a reverse takeover under AIM rules and as a result, trading in the company's ordinary shares has been suspended.

Chief executive officer Rusty Hutson said: "This transformational deal for DGO will materially increase the scale of our portfolio within the Appalachian Basin, taking up further acreage in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania and entering southern New York and northeast Tennessee. The proposed transaction highlights the strength of our business model in that we are able to acquire complementary assets in a proven, stable and low-risk environment at compelling valuation metrics.

"We believe that this deal will deliver significant benefits to our shareholders in the form of increased cash flow, proven developed reserves and acreage for future development opportunities whilst also supporting our dividend policy and enabling us to consider additional opportunities that we see within our region of focus."

That level of interest is on a par with a loan extension arrangement a Company (floated on the Nasdaq) I am close to also has.I don't think it is out of the ordinary. It would be useful to get some news here, however.

IC have moved to a "Hold" whilst awaiting the admission doc. Also noted the $110m borrowing would be at "high single digit" interest rate.

Looks really positive, but my only concern is - this isn't necessarily what we bought into. I'd like to look more at the additional debt/covenants.

Looks like a bit of a wait until we resume trading and discover what the market thinks. At first glance this does indeed look to be a transformational deal and the reaction should be positive.

Suspended ahead of large acquisition - they don't hang around! Reads well from a glance, immediately earnings-enhancing if it goes through.

Just added at 66.25p. It showed up as a sell (that really bugs me).Previously bought in at 55p and can see these doing well over the next 18 months.
