Daz,It is listed on the website here:https://groceries.asda.com/product/flavoured-spiced-rum/red-leg-spiced-dark-rum/910003079077It says it is out of stock which could be for other reasons.. I don't think they would display it on the website if it had been delisted. I also noted that on all amazon listings for new Redleg products fast growth in the quantity of customer reviews.. Which all say verified as authentic purchases.. but those are just my observations.

I did a bid of research looking at Blavod Vodka.. Was surprised to see it is selling all over the place.Found links on websites for Moscow Airport Duty Free, Duty Free sites in Spain, Romania and more interesting saw lots of links in the US: Utah, Virginia, Oklahoma.. also Mexico and Canada, found sites in Italy, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Holland, Czech rep, Portugal, Taiwan, Singapore and the UK.. I only looked at websites listing the product that have been updated in the last 12 month and so there could well be more.. But looks like an impressive distribution..

I bought a bottle of the raspberry lemongrass and mint, at the request of my partner. Tried it with some tonic. She was impressed. Yes it was light, fruity, refreshing and I would think great for the ladies with plenty of ice for a summer drink on sunny days and evenings. I'm more of a whisky / rum drinker so not really one for me but on the right day could see it as quite moreish.
If it can get out there enough I could see it becoming very trendy and gather quite a following.

Had a glass of the Trove Valencia Orange. Very refreshing, very different. Interested to see how this is marketed and where it is placed in the market. MM what is your view and how did you find it?

Any news of Trove in the supermarkets? Seems like a good product but with a very crowded market would take a bit more than a Listing on Amazon to get going?

In Tesco Extra SW Wales yesterday. Only 2 bottles of basic RedLeg (one of which had no labels fitted) on show, alongside otherwise empty shelf spaces, where there would normally have been up to 5 rows of 6 bottles (all varieties). Didn't know what to make of that and there was nobody around to ask. I took the labelled one. £20.50, or £15.50 with a Tesco clubcard.

EDIT
11 May: Visited same store again today. RedLeg shelf full again. 12 x basic RedLeg and 12 x Pineapple, so I assume on last visit it had simply sold out fast and was waiting for the shelf stacker to get to it. Great stuff.

Red Leg currently £15 per bottle on Amazon. Very competitive market considering duty is £7.54 per bottle, and VAT is £2.50!

I noticed over the weekend Asda superstore near to me has no products for Redleg/no space or label, so maybe it’s been discontinued by Asda Group?
Pubs and restaurants are fully reopening soon which surely will have a negative effect on supermarket sales of Redleg as back into 2019 sales year on year were flat.

Eps should come in at 0.0775p for full year vs 0.05p for last year.

0.0775 x 40 = 3.1p per share

Daz and BP those bottles look really good imo. CT to get a value you have to look at contribution which is basically gross profit less marketing costs. I think your £2 is probably pretty close. £3mln revenue is 500,000 bottle equivalent

What is the Red Leg brand worth? Based on a profit of say £2 per bottle and a P/E ratio of 25. Sales of 500,000 bottles = £25m; 1,000,000 bottles = £50m and 2,000,000 bottles = £100m.

Total UK rum sales in 2018 was 35,000,000 bottles.

The Red Leg brand now has four varieties in the top 100 rum sales on Amazon. Only Captain Morgan tops this at five varieties in the top 100. This brand has serious legs. I expect more flavours to be added to the range.

Selection of top 100 sellers - Captain Morgan 5 varieties; Red Leg 4 varieties; Lambs 3 varieties; Dead Mans Fingers 2 varieties

Looks like the bounce is on - I missed the exact bottom this week but got 2.66p.

Where's that review then Daz?

There's a real feeling of growth about this company at last.

Have a good weekend all.
