I'm getting a new search result for Diva Vodka. This didn't come up several months ago when I searched for Diva Vodka. I like the change/addition from a tube of crystals inside the bottle to the new crystal bracelet. I'm sure the ladies would prefer the latter with their Vodka gift.

"As a little sparkle should be left wherever you go, Diva Vodka comes with a glittering bracelet around the waist of each bottle, which can be removed and worn for any Diva moment!"

Relaunch RNS soon?

Everyone should watch this from end to end. If you just want a reminder about RedLeg value and 'hot brand' back in April 2017 (when the video was uploaded), skip to 12m 30s.

great chat guys , , a2b you are right about asda sainsbury merger, that would open market for blackwoods for asda customers, and we all now from diageo report (watched on bbc business news) that gin market is currently red hot..... the only worry is that the vodka market is shrinking...

Looking to top up at DIS substantially but waiting for better price from MR MARKET....

a_2_b, Don said he laughed when someone suggested £10m for RedLeg, if I remember correctly this was what someone was offering, maybe in passing, but either way Don laughed at it. It's in one of his presentation videos, probably linked in the header of this forum. He went on to say RedLeg is a 'hot brand', and therefore worth a lot more. That was something like a year ago, and RedLeg has grown significantly since then, so the price now must be well above £10m, perhaps still in the £20m to £50m bracket, but well above where it was around a year ago.

Berny, yes they've had that cash sitting around for a long time. Now they are talking to their bankers about their agreements? They made a loss recently due to all the destocking ahead of new products? They were profitable. So maybe the bank talks are to get financial backing on good terms so that they can be confident in using some of that 50m to acquire a brand or two, and expand into more markets?I'm guessing the new CEO won't want that much cash sat around earning low interest, he will want to put it to better use where the returns will be many multiples of what they earn in interest.

Interesting theory I remember all this from awhile back. I'd hope they wouldn't sell it out cheap though, red leg is begging to get a big foothold over here. Seen it in a greene king pub recently hell seeing it everywhere to be honest now even independent places. Hoping the sainsbury asda merger will shift over blackwoods stock too.

HC - company has circa 50mln in cash (57mln 06/17). No idea where your thoughts are from but all brands would fit well. Company has access into both US and Eastern Europe. No big brands in UK market. Very interesting.

Got to try the new 2017 vintage Gin and very nice. A nice sharper fresher taste I thought. Picked up from Big Sainsbury (just off M27). Had two lines of Blackwoods Gin and two lines of Redleg Rum. I took the last two bottles of Blackwoods and Redleg was also down to two bottles.

I assume at that Sainsbury shelves are stacked each night. As two lines is one 12 bottle case, encouraging to see. I note that Blackwoods as moved up the top sellers list on the online store for Sainsbury as well.

Interested to hear other peoples comments on Blacwoods/Redleg in super markets and how it is selling too.
