What a solid set of results! Couldn't be better under the circumstances. Roaring into profitability (which we were hoping for over many years), no reason at all for another share issue, a clear indication there will be new brands or new launches soon, which could either be Jagos this autumn or a spirit for South America which was alluded to in an analyst report by Progressive, and a hint that a large American distributor for our gin and rum is on the cards. Fantastic work and a very impressive report by the directors.

I'm not to phased at the Market reaction either. I have added on a couple of occasions and will continue to do so on any dips in price. Long term I still believe this is a belter, Good product, Well run company with Brands Growing in value.

Results a little better than I expected at the net profit level. A very transparent and full directors report. Encouraging to me and gives confidence.

First thoughts after reading it in full was that this is looking like there is a lot more to come. New European markets, hint at new liquids, strategy in the US. Opportunity whist we have a profitable model on the ground.

How the market reacts not too bothered in this for the longer term.

Great Set of results, marginally lower than my own estimate but only by a few thousand, It's a growing profit and makes the business self supporting despite speculation of fundraising we had earlier in the year. I'm happy with them !

Excellent results. Real net profits, cash in bank and no debt. Strong YonY progress. Lots of data for the fundamentalists to chew over. It will be interesting to see what the mkts think of this at 8am. pete

American distributors want huge amount of money upfront to sell manufacturers's products regardless, but Distil's management wants them to pay upfront if they are serious (quite rightly).

Here we are then. End of the week arriving and no end to the tension yet. Looks possible that tomorrow could be the day, but in truth I hope it's been held over until next week. No sensible coy should publish on a Friday just when many traders are withdrawing their support for a couple of days.

However, if results are further postponed, or if results are ''in-line'', or ''as expected'', or poorer, then the share price could bomb, and all those who dumped this week will have been proven right, and annoyingly will also have gained an undeserved opportunity to buy back at a lower share price

Still don't see why DIS cannot forward announce a results date.

IMO, whenever it comes, we need a bullish result simply to maintain the current share price In today's mkt, even excellent results can get hammered and this has already been a long road for us to travel.

No point in fretting now, I suppose. The die is already cast. The report may as yet be unpublished, but it is undoubtedly ready to go and some insiders already know what it says.

As is well known here, I feel this coy is leaky to a few interested parties, so I worry just in case this weeks sales are due to unfair knowledge.

Sincerely hope I am off target. As a confirmed LTH I want the share price and the coy's future to be determined by the results of their hard work and not by insiders and game-players.

Whether it's tomorrow, or next week, GL to all genuine holders - see you at 7.

Agreed but it can go either way..20% down or 20% up. Miton group are not only selling Distil but their entire portfolio. Nothing to do with the performance of stocks they hold. They still hold 25m shares of Distil, they could sell the lot if they didn't believe in Distil. They might be raising funds for other projects.

Does Milton have a crystal ball? No. The presumption that the results will send the share price higher is misguided. What if the share price falls 20% as can often be the case on results day? If they need the cash now better to remove that risk. They still have a decent exposure to at upside.

Miton group have been reducing their holdings across the board, not just Distil. Perhaps they are raising cash for other ventures, nothing to do with the performance of Distil or other stocks. No need to panic, Distil will hit double digits in due course.

Miton group is down sizing prompting smaller holders to sell. Miton group used to own 50m shares and they currently own 25m as of yesterday. I hope they will stick around without selling anymore until Distil's share price touches double digits.
