28/5/2018 13:53 | Peter let's put it this way the tip was put out at 2 minutes past 2 on Friday afternoon now look at what time the share price started to rise,Don't think there was anything particularly new in the article just that the trading momentum is positive suggesting they could beat forcasts and as the the growth story unfolds they look with renewed interest and have every confidence in Don Goulding building alcohol brands which as you know are highly valued.Bit more to it than that but hope this helps a little 😋 | scotty1
28/5/2018 09:44 | I don't subscribe to tip sheets so I've never heard of hot stock rockets. If you are actually right about this being the reason for such a huge rise then they must have a quite extraordinary influence. 5 mill shares is very big business for DIS. Was anything useful said? Do they have a good success record? Can anyone post copy/extract of what was said? Please educate me! GL pete | petersinthemarket
26/5/2018 18:45 | Peter 😊 yes that tip was the driver for he rise on Friday and I'm pretty sure it will be reposted on shareprophets in the next few days for all to see, just as a rider it was HSR tip of the month. | scotty1
26/5/2018 12:25 | This was tipped on a hot stock rockets yesterday - which may be the reason for the share rise :-) | mdchand
25/5/2018 19:47 | I respectfully suggest that anyone who thinks there is nothing behind this sudden action must have their head in the sand. This cy is leaky. Bid/offer 1.85/2.10 has risen 20% to 2.25/2.55 in 10 days. 3m shares traded yesterday and 5m today when the usual norm is 1m/day, or quite a lot less. Perhaps this might mean the final report is now complete and ready to be published a little earlier this year. Based on this level of activity, perhaps even sometime next week. And presumably the news is good. Hope some of you guys managed to take advantage of the share price lows a few weeks back. GL, pete | petersinthemarket
25/5/2018 16:50 | Yes, and I shall be celebrating with my first ever bottle of Blackwoods Gin. It's hard to come by in N Wales, but I ventured over the border and found some at Sainsburys in Chester, on offer at £19, a bargain! | bigboyblue
25/5/2018 15:45 | Flying today! | haggismchaggis
25/5/2018 15:32 | Few more days like this and miton will be gone :) | mudis
25/5/2018 11:42 | Pete, hard to tell. Reaction to the last 3 trading updates (Oct Jan April) was disappointing so I'm not getting overexcited just yet. Surely profit of around £150K or more would be considered positive? I've learnt not to be too bullish since buying in at too high a price, but am now down 'only' 42% (it was 49% last week!). | bigboyblue
25/5/2018 10:52 | I very much like the charts here - pity there are no thread followers. pete | petersinthemarket
25/5/2018 10:21 | A couple of moderately healthy trades going through around 2.20p this morning. What do you think guys? Does it look like good value at this price? Not buying this week, just curious. pete | petersinthemarket
25/5/2018 10:17 | Recent finals have been published between 4-9 june, so end of next week, or sometime during the week after could be expected, but it would not have surprised me to see something today. Yesterdays trades (3m shares) looked very organized. The final report is probably broadly already finished, bar a last few trims, and it's very difficult to protect the content when internal financial staff and external auditing staff have detailed access. It will be very good to see some real numbers available to the whole market at last. pete | petersinthemarket
24/5/2018 13:53 | Results are due out in a couple of weeks. | berny3
24/5/2018 10:35 | Yep, something's going on behind the scenes alright | dante17
24/5/2018 10:31 | Thanks Berny #5258 - I raise two fingers - but same idea. pete | petersinthemarket
24/5/2018 10:23 | Definitely something going on here. Some very large buys by DIS standards. Someone knows something that we don't. Looks like someone accumulating to me with a very sudden lurch in the share price. I have always considered this Cy to be leaky. Lets see where this goes. pete EDIT: Just put through some large/very large dummy bids and there seem to be plenty of shares available. | petersinthemarket
24/5/2018 10:08 | peters, You need to tick the "stock" option ! | chinese investor
24/5/2018 10:07 | Something is going on here. Some very big buys by DIS stds. | petersinthemarket
22/5/2018 23:24 | pete, watch the Trump show to pass the time. Every time he says witch hunt drink two fingers. | berny3
22/5/2018 19:44 | when they will post annual report? | iceman82
22/5/2018 09:25 | Cheers Berny3 - Excellent summary - I read the rising bid as mm's trying to find stock, ie a temporary stock shortage - I am a LTH but I also keep hoping for a new announcement of some sort, to increase LT prospects and also to break the boredom. GL, pete | petersinthemarket
21/5/2018 20:54 | pete A company with mrkt cap of £10mln With listings in Sainsbury; Tesco; Asda; Morrisons; Waitrose; Majestic Wines; Bookers Michel & Butlers; Yates; Wetherspoons Pubs A number other independents A success vodka brand selling in Russia and Eastern European markets The approved right to market and sell Blackwoods small batch Gin, Redleg Rum and Blavod in the US. Estimated to turn over £2mln, contribution around £600K and an expected profit of £100K. If the figures are correct above it is likely the compny will continue to see growth in revenue.
