Berny,

I could not have made it any clearer....and I think people are getting bored.

The following is all I have to say on the matter, so if it doesn't satisfy you, please don't ask for more. You have to understand that people will have a different opinion to you and will expect different things from a business.

Anyway:

I believe the company is still growing but that this growth has slowed over the corresponding period.

You believe the company is growing, and growing at an increased rate over the corresponding period.

Neither of us know for sure.

Neither of us know for sure because in order to make a truly accurate comparison between the most recently announced sales and with the corresponding period last year, we need to know what the 'exceptional' pipefill orders were that were included in that corresponding period.

Neither of us know that figure.

Personally I don't think the pipefill figure was great as you think it was.....meaning that the figures just released are not as hot as you apparently think they are.

As I've previously stated, notwithstanding the pipefill orders from the corresponding period, I was rather disappointed with the trading update in early January. Personally I would liked to have seen a greater surge in sales. The market tended to agree.

So, would I have liked to have seen % growth at the same level as last year (including the pipeline) or even above? Yes, that's the confirmation I would have been looking for to reassure that the brand was really on fire.

Had the recent trading update said 50% - 70% growth over the last period (INCLUDING that pipefill) I would have been impressed. But as such the trading update looked a bit flat to me.

Maybe I'm demanding!?

But I'm allowed to be demanding.

After all it's my money I'm risking!

I can't make it any clearer so I'm sorry I really haven't got much more to say than that.

Cheerio.

No, I haven't. Folk just keep going on the ASDA site and posting a link saying here it is. This is the 'global' offering. Only when you enter a postcode do you see what you can actually order do you see the 'local' offering. This is a much-reduced selection in my case, so Redleg is not alone. But, I did used to be able to order it, now I can't, which is not encouraging vis a vis sales in this area.

The problem is Boff you've asked about availability repeatedly and had it answered repeatedly. I think we can all agree you seem to be the only person in the UK unable to get Redleg at Asda online. Surely you've had enough information on this particular subject? Anyway where Haggis?

Tw I don't believe you make any fair points. I believe they're consistently negative bias with no proof behind it, made up for with a 2 page essays of dribble to help you believe in yourself.

You also say about people being too close to this when you've followed this from day dot, its very hard to take you seriously especially when your getting personal and more bullish by the day on lse. Obviously some agenda here same as boff guy can't troll at all.

Good luck guys whatever your agenda is and hope it works out for you but I'm very happy here and this will be longest term hold for me.

Boff. I'm pretty balanced in my opinion here. I neither think this is the greatest company in the world or that its about to go under, but even I can't understand your fixation on Redleg availability in your postcode. If you're that bothered ask ASDA!!! Unless you're insinuating that ASDA are no longer stocking Redleg which clearly isn't the case. You're making mischief which leads me to believe you have an agenda.

I'm interested to see how widespread the lack of stock of RedLeg at ASDA.com is. Could folk take the time to go to the ASDA website, enter your postcode, and then see if RedLeg is available? Thanks

Hi monnow - I thought as much, re. the river. I love the monnow valley. I used to occasionally visit an arts centre there. What a super part of the world to live in. I hope it will remain as unspoiled as possible. And I believe you've planted a woodland. We would get along very well, as I've vast environmental interests.

Back to DIS, yes I do make some very fair points. Although I refer back over many years, I've by no means held throughout all that time and the company doesn't owe me anything so don't sympathise for me too much! :O) What the time span, and longstanding view of the business has done however is give me a very broad perspective and familiarity - not just of this individual business but of the markets as a whole.

What I would say is that I see the same mistakes being made - including folk getting 'too close' to a company.....and of course the resident 'house experts' on numerous threads who quite often post what suits rather than having a 'cleaner' and less conflicted view of the given situation.

Rgds to you.

Threadworm: You do make some fair points, I was just trying to get some balance back into what I think is becoming an overbearish cloud. I do sympathise with you, having held for so long it must have become very fustrating and I admire your tenacity for sticking with it, I am sure most people would have thrown in the towel. But the company has radically refocused since then and I do think good progress is being made. I can understand how you and Boffster perhaps feel a little less willing to play the long game in view has youve been in this share for years already. By the way my name is after the river, which runs at the bottom of my property. Loveley area to visit in the summer months.if your ever in these parts.
