I would like to think a way may be found of putting fair value on brands at a given time, from an accounting perspective, if that's possible. That would be helpful. Other than that, as you say, it is only known when a brand is sold.
As it is, I guess the share price is in the eye of the beholder.

This buy IMO is a big client of the new broker. They move fast, I wasn't expecting this for a couple of weeks!

The valuation should be made on the value of the brands when they are sold, not on the P/E.

The company is building the value of the brands, the more cases they sell the higher the value of the brands when we come to sell them on. They could spend all their profit on advertising, because profitability is not as important as increasing the ultimate sale value of the brands.

RedLeg could sell for up to £50m, even if we took £30m for it that is still double the current value of the company, for just one of its brands.

The sooner Don gets the brands valued (will the new broker do this for us?) the sooner we will see much higher prices for the stock.

Change of broker has several possible reasons, some of those I have encountered over the years:The existing broker is only small, it cannot provide the services and support a more developed company requires (in DIS case think of a brand sale). The existing broker is not currently providing the level of service the business needs, service levels have dropped and despite speaking to the broker the situation hasn't improved. The analyst has moved to a different company, the Company follows the analyst if they know that analyst is good. The broker loses or closes its small cap analyst team.Another broker is offering a better service, a better deal, etc, and comes highly recommended. The company is looking for some big institutions to buy the stock, the current broker doesn't have the contacts so the company moves to a broker that does have the contacts. Also, once a company moves, the new broker usually puts out a bullish "initiating coverage" broker note to all its clients, creating a fresh influx of cash into the stock. Usually this takes a couple of weeks to happen, so watch the price ;-)

Didn't shares mag advise selling after it went to around 2.5p earlier in the year?

Also mentioned in shares mag - not tipped, just that investors may want to consider it again with the drop.

Change of broker/adviser. Must be a reason for it, but not of itself unusual.

Fever Tree (fevr) trading update today. No mention of us as it's a very short update, but watch them today, as their growth remains high and they say FY results will be materially ahead of expectations.I'm very happy we are working with them, as it is a low cost way to leverage their products to advertise our products to their customers, and they are growing customer base very fast.

Positive day yesterday but it certainly shouldn't be taken as a sign this is due to recover. It's been drifting for 3 months with the odd rise during that time. Just consolidation at these levels would be a positive buy signal imo.

Reporting on a little traveling around I am doing. I have found Redleg Rum, in the first pub/hotel Dorset, Redleg Rum Tesco Metro Richmond, Redleg Rum, Wetherspoon MiltonKeynes, Blackwood Gin Pub/hotel just outside MK. Just saying the distribution has substantially increased and happy to be able to find the either RL or BW at each stop so far.
