Last year FEVR gave a trading update on 7 November, so the drop there today is very suspicious. It might be a leak of the trading update, saying things aren't going as well as predicted. Or it might be a leak of good news, so it's heavily shorted to get the stock cheaper before the update hits. Very suspicious to fall that far on no news anyway.

Looking at the 3yr FEVR chart its just moved back into its 3yr uptrend, the trend hasn't broken yet. And yes, what a run.

It don't matter til they start selling there, but as there's been so much talk about the US 'deal' this may start to put it in perspective.

Clearly distil is more of an investment than the 'gamble' of buying shares in an oil exploration company.

I have to agree with Haggis on this one. That is surely the main attraction of penny shares. The possibility of doubling your money in a day. Of course of are as likely to lose it all in a day too. Most penny shares I've looked at in the past are always on the brink of something amazing be it an oil discovery or breakthrough in medical research All that usually happens is share issue after share issue until they go bust.

What a load of rubbish. Any penny stock can go through the roof in a day and make people millionaires, all the stock needs is the right discovery (eg oil), or the right deal (eg Apple, Walmart, etc), or the right legislation (all companies must by law use the product), etc. It's far more likely that a small cap stock will make huge gains than a blue chip stock, because the small cap stock is only worth millions and is establishing itself, whereas the blue chip stock is worth hundreds of millions or billions and has already established itself.

Penny shares like Distil are suitable for long term investment only. Rome wasn't built in one day, no point buying stocks like Distil hoping for making quick million in short term. Institutional investors will only be interested if revenue hits £10m and net profit £1m within 3 years else market will not respond.

Either way, I'm sure the BOD are working as hard as possible to get our products into USA in the biggest possible way. Don wouldn't have mentioned reviewing the distribution based on how well RedLeg and Blackwoods are selling if that wasn't the case.

It varies from state to state - with for example Walmart stores licensed in some and not others. Import, federal law and state law come into play.

It's got to be 3 tier compliant, and this is the first and maybe only current web seller.

Interesting that Walmart sell Rum, but only in stores, not online. Plenty of room for RedLeg and Blackwoods in there.

Only one type of gin.

Nothing new about the system in USA. I posted an article earlier ( post 4057 ) on 3 tier system. Not simple and adds cost. There's a bit more here on import and distribution.

Don't fit, does it.
They have to comply with USA longstanding law since prohibition. That presumably was their intention when they made their current USA distribution agreement with Winebow, said then to be exclusive. Now under review.
Not talking about a bottle through the post from UK.

Except you now have many producers selling directly from their own websites, so they are producer and retailer.

For example:

"The three tier system means that producers cannot either wholesale or retail alcohol. Similarly, wholesalers cannot be producers or retailers. And retailers cannot wholesale or produce alcohol. This separation means that the economic interests of producers, distributors and retailers are fundamentally different. In fact, they are often in conflict with each other."

City's adage: "buy on rumour and sell on news" seems to be working here. What-if the rumour turns out to be a fact?
