27/10/2009 19:05 | Problem with Disl as well is there is only 2 market makers and both as you would expect have a big spread so of course there's either a big dip or rise coming when one of them decides to move and it's a coin flip to guess that. I actually started to believe the story, loans secured on properties so no short term financial worries and that exhibition did not lie with orders over 10 million. If he has sold it's normally the best indicator around, AMC at 0.8p and Fml at 0.6p are prime examples, both went onto to double figures. I might throw 50k of shares at it, do think it could be a 5-10 bagger or bust ? | 21simthy

25/10/2009 18:07 | That's from back in early June 2009 whereas all the articles I have posted about from within the past month. Alot can change since June 2009 and the summer months is the best period for the company i.e. after June 2009. Wouldn't be recruiting the way they have and rather listen to employees's quotes on website. Also, bringing in 2010 models for sale on website. It's busy at Discover imo. Check out the gold award status too for the Chorley branch at the end of September 2009. Incidentally, it is the house broken Panmure Gordon who are still alone on the bid and have soaked up any sells at 1p for the past month. Their quote from Jan 2009:- 'Panmure Gordon, which has a "hold" rating on the stock, says results for the year to date show market share growth, cost reduction and the clearing of stock. The broker says it expects Discovery to reduce debt, by around 20 million pounds by the year-end and it believes "the spoils for the survivors will be great", though it adds trading over the coming year will be tough'. | treacle32
25/10/2009 17:55 | We expect to see further fall out in the leisure sector in the UK over the summer. In spite of the growing trend for so-called 'stay-cations', consumers are pulling a tight rein on discretionary spending,' he said. 'This has far-reaching consequences on the financial stability of the many and varied businesses in the leisure sector, from hotels to caravan retailers.' | afrorich
25/10/2009 15:00 | See the website and positives in the past month including with hiring:- Monday, 28 September 2009 Discover Chorley achieves CaSSOA Gold Award Wednesday, 16 September 2009 Katy and Helen join the After Sales team at Discover Leisure, Darlington Fergus said "With the upturn in holidaying at home since the turn of the year, the need to have your leisure vehicle serviced is increasing and having Katy and Helen on board will allow us to meet the demand put upon us over the Winter months." Monday, 14 September 2009 Alan Freeman appointed Brand Manager at Discover Leisure Chorley Alan Said "I'm really looking forward to the challenge and to working with the team at Discover Chorley and am keen to develop the superb site to its full potential. It has been a difficult year but with the rise in interest in both camping and caravanning and for holidaying at home since the turn of the year, things are looking up." | treacle32
