Any views on the hedging? in principle looks a reasonable and prudent management decision, but my investment head tells me silver will be a lot higher than the $36+ over the period concerned.

"So although there are no guarantees it does look feasible for DME to become a very long-lasting growth stock."

Quite so, chip. Nice to see a bit more recognition of the fact in the last week or so.

ajviews,

It is their commanding land position that really attracted me. With such an enormous strike length it has always looked probable that they would end up with 2 or 3 plants operating along this new copper belt. So although there are no guarantees it does look feasible for DME to become a very long-lasting growth stock.

I missed FQM at a similar stage many years ago so decided not to repeat the same mistake again!

There still looks to be plenty of upside from Boseto alone. But as they push along strike with quite an aggressive drill campaign the likelihood of another plant (or 2) will (I hope) become more apparent.

Thanks Chip, (looks better with some pic's) have been a bit behind on DME with Gold and other distractions, so still had open and going through the presentation you posted last week. Like the upcoming 2012 developments here (especially with Copper prices approaching highs again), attracted to the silver as part of the picture also.

Bring this to the top in case anyone hasn't noticed the quarterly release here today. -

Not in myself as I had been looking for a pullback first within the recent consolidation, watching with interest this and other copper names.

i understand your concern about the wider market woes, but consider this, if you buy a grands worth of copper or silver and put it in a hole in your back garden, would it be worth more than a grands worth of cash in ten years time?

the US and EU problems will be sorted one way or another, the alternative is unthinkable, i mean, it would be back to the stone age more or less... so they have to make it work, the real question is who will be hurt most in the process?

You are not alone folks. Been holding here since May 2010. Sold a few at 88p meaning to buy back in lower but didn't take advantage of the drop because I still have major concerns about the equity mkts in general so am just holding a small amount of DME and will look to add as and when I feel more confident about the wider picture.

i would think 120p based on the flag formation on the chart, but that would be assuming that all is well with us and eu debt and that we dont fall back into recession.

beyond that the long term will be significantly more...

i hope!

To save you talking to yourself, thought i'd better chip in. Had this on my watchlist for some time but hesitated around 80p. Better late than never i suppose. Do you have any price targets?

reasonable drilling results this week, not fabulous grades but large scale over wide area, and they will find the "sweet spot" to concentrate on...

BHP billiton copper miners to strike...

we could see a major surge in copper prices next week, even if it is short lived!

as for DME, they keep up the steady flow of good news, so far have not missed a target, and the management claims have never been over cooked once, and there is NO private investor froth on this or any DME/DML board which gives me confidence that even at 87p the share price is not over inflated

This time next year it will have earnings from sales.

The potential income could repay all debt in 2-3 years, and could be used to finance ramp up or a second project.

I'm looking for double bag from here in that timescale.

In 5 years this could be very big indeed, assuming it remains independant.

With results from 4/5 other prospects to be announce in September.

This is a great little company!! There's no PI noise and chatter around it yet which is a good sign too.

Virtually self funding expansion too!
