01/10/2007 13:41 | I may be stating the obvious here but somebody is clearly accumulating large amounts of stock. 13 out of the last 15 trades have been sells but the share price is still rising. Very interesting! | paddywak1967
30/9/2007 20:17 | If the company has made substantial gains in the first six months and is warning on the full year it means the following six months from 01/01/08 will also be under pressure. A heavy fall but wholly justified in the long term. | mercier et camier

28/9/2007 15:19 | Pizza A warning is usually not a good sign but when you read the rest of the RNS it looks very much like a one-off. Everything else is very positive. I know companies sometimes make positive statements that aren't substantiated by fact but the facts here clearly support their case......profits up 400%, lettings up, future looking rosey. The company are making over 6 million in profit...not loss. It all looks good to me! | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 15:12 | Not suprisingly it's started to go back up again! | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 15:02 | "A full-year revenue warning " this is the bit i don't like as they say warnings come in 3s | pizza3
28/9/2007 14:59 | Hallalua...life at last! Hello Pizza. I've taken the plunge based on the fact that the business looks like it is making real progress. How many companies announce a massive rise in profits and lose more than 50% of their value? | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 14:57 | if it was "Direct Women" it would be a certain buy | pizza3
28/9/2007 14:56 | aaye...i am looking ..thinking...but not sure | pizza3
28/9/2007 14:49 | There are times when I definitely think I'm talking to myself!........is anybody out there????? | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 14:31 | The company has made 6.3 million in PROFIT in just 6 months, an increase of nearly 400% , has increased sales by 176%, has made fresh acquisitions which are clearly paying off, has increased property letting substantially and has stated its long-term prospects remain strong. On top of all this they are paying a dividend.....unlike Northern Rock(lol). This share should be up on the day and not down!!! | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 13:14 | Direct Wonen H1 pretax soars; sees FY trading revenue below mkt expectations AFX LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Direct Wonen NV said its first half pretax increased nearly four times as revenues saw a steep rise, but added its full-year trading revenues will be below market expectations on higher interest rates and operational difficulties with its financial services division. It said its pretax profit for six months to June rose to 6.3 mln eur from 1.6 mln eur, while its sales soared 176 pct to 21.8 mln eur, enhanced by the acquisition of Acadium Bastion in last September and by new property sales which commenced largely in second-half of 2006. The property and financial services provider said it property lettings revenue increased 14 pct in the period to 5.8 mln eur against 5.1 mln eur in the year-ago period, and added property lettings have continued a steady upward trend since the half year. The company also said it is confident in its longer term prospects, which remain strong. The company announced an interim dividend of 0.41 pence per share. | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 13:08 | The fall seems very overdone in light of todays news. Had to call my broker as I couldn't buy these online but they were easy enough to buy over the phone! | paddywak1967
28/9/2007 13:05 | To be honest I know very little about this company but it's taken a pasting today in spite of releasing some very good news about future business prospects. Any views???? | paddywak1967 |
