Depends on the rate - although given the political uncertainty there is no guarantee the 5th August deadline will be met

It looks like a lot of interest? There could be another buyout like L&G from US or overseas in EU? The brokers reckon 348 by end of July. I personal like DLG as an honest and open Insurer.

Is this forum about compare the market and car insurance? Or about a share price forum and discussion on DLG board, decisions and sp? share price should start to rise when new start up is more mature and a larger revenue stream. Plus DLG is a well run organisation, just the FTSE is on a bit if a downer with Trumps antics with China.

Agree price is not everything, having good EU cover, plus no extra for changes and only went up £10 this year. Though this is about the company and share price it should be at 350p, with big buys from Blackrock investments, DLG starting a new cheaper own brand at lower end of market and solid growth and long term plans. Once Brexit means brexit and we are out of EU watch all UK shares gain by 9 - 11%

Those that equate great insurance with price are sadly mistaken.

Admiral insured my 19yr old son for £699 after VW cancelled his 1 years free insurance, after 10months, for speeding, 32mph in a 20mph zone. DLG wouldn't even quote. VW insurance was awful, tried multiple times to phone them to discuss his policy but, could never get through even after waiting for over an hour on the phone.
Admiral gave us a good deal on both my and my wife's car insurance :)

PS-Excess £1000 on son's new policy.

Could not sing the praises enough last year when insuring son's first car.
So now , years NcB , and the price is unchanged virtually and we have halved the mileage.
Not quite so impressed this time as they are rather take it or leave it at the moment.
Their choice , I guess.
Still , all an insurance company is, is a bookmaker working the odds on any particular incident. Too much exposure to the younger driver and want us to go elsewhere.
