26/6/2019 17:43 | Depends on the rate - although given the political uncertainty there is no guarantee the 5th August deadline will be met | sufc555
26/6/2019 09:31 | Isn't that news is already in the price? | pete160
26/6/2019 08:59 | The discount rate change is coming - enjoy | sufc555
07/6/2019 10:47 | It looks like a lot of interest? There could be another buyout like L&G from US or overseas in EU? The brokers reckon 348 by end of July. I personal like DLG as an honest and open Insurer. | 97peter
07/6/2019 10:14 | Nice rise in the last few days.Hopefully it will reach 3.40 next week | peteret

20/5/2019 19:46 | Is this forum about compare the market and car insurance? Or about a share price forum and discussion on DLG board, decisions and sp? share price should start to rise when new start up is more mature and a larger revenue stream. Plus DLG is a well run organisation, just the FTSE is on a bit if a downer with Trumps antics with China. | 97peter
20/5/2019 18:14 | To the gentleman who recommended Admiral for my son's motor renewal Many thanks... Reduced his premium substantially | ignoble
16/5/2019 22:11 | Manipulated up to pay out less shares from dividend.will drop again next week. | longwell
16/5/2019 20:04 | Agree price is not everything, having good EU cover, plus no extra for changes and only went up £10 this year. Though this is about the company and share price it should be at 350p, with big buys from Blackrock investments, DLG starting a new cheaper own brand at lower end of market and solid growth and long term plans. Once Brexit means brexit and we are out of EU watch all UK shares gain by 9 - 11% | 97peter
16/5/2019 17:32 | I think they are sound Went long yesterday | gswredland

16/5/2019 07:30 | Those that equate great insurance with price are sadly mistaken. | sufc555
16/5/2019 06:46 | So did I having earned 1 years NCB .. Made very little difference. Not impressed ... | ignoble
15/5/2019 23:22 | Would expect a considerably cheaper quote in 12 months time!. | essentialinvestor
15/5/2019 23:13 | Admiral insured my 19yr old son for £699 after VW cancelled his 1 years free insurance, after 10months, for speeding, 32mph in a 20mph zone. DLG wouldn't even quote. VW insurance was awful, tried multiple times to phone them to discuss his policy but, could never get through even after waiting for over an hour on the phone. Admiral gave us a good deal on both my and my wife's car insurance :) wllm PS-Excess £1000 on son's new policy. | wllmherk
15/5/2019 22:49 | My son is 20 ....ouch Direct Line will lose £1600 of premium. Maybe it means little to them in the big scheme of things ... | ignoble
15/5/2019 22:45 | Thanks Sundial ...glad it was not just my experience. | ignoble
15/5/2019 19:20 | This will get back to 350 region as this is a well organised company and board. | 97peter
15/5/2019 18:13 | You mighty clever | deadly

15/5/2019 17:49 | Me the same ignoble cheap not any more ,went to Aviva. | sundial1
15/5/2019 17:35 | Could not sing the praises enough last year when insuring son's first car. So now , years NcB , and the price is unchanged virtually and we have halved the mileage. Not quite so impressed this time as they are rather take it or leave it at the moment. Their choice , I guess. Still , all an insurance company is, is a bookmaker working the odds on any particular incident. Too much exposure to the younger driver and want us to go elsewhere. | ignoble |
