Ex the interim 7p dividend this morning. share price down by a similar amount. Just about right. Would be nice to see us pushing on from here soon though......

A lot of the results were already flagged in the qtr 1 release. The final div will be 14p plus the special.
I personally would like the special divs to be spread over a couple of payments to avoid the massive price hit when it goes xd.

Topped up this am, I like the results and especially the 7p divi in few days time. This goes ex divi on 9th Aug. It’s a bummer that results came out on a FTSE down day, FTSE 100 currently down .55% which obviously isn’t helping DLG. This is a great solid divi paying stock and a solid buy for me. As usual DYOT and all that :).

Yes that is 1500% uplift (and thats just the P1) It is hard to believe how significant this is.

THe herd have not arrived yet.. Its still under the radar of most investors.

Add to it 40 million USD in the bank
Heading for 4,000 boepd production in the short term
Just announced 24 well development programme for this huge resource.

There is a dispute as to the closing price due to the purchase of £10m after the closing bell. My account is showing 342

Numbers to look out for tommorrow
Profit 354m
Return on equity 24.6%
Dividend 6.8p

The above figs are 2017 half year

I’m with DL too. In 32 years if driving, I’ve never made a motor insurance claim. I’ve never made a home insurance claim either. I’ve spent a fortune on insurance over the years. Still I always appreciate my divi from DL when it arrives. Reinvest it each time without fail mind you, and that policy has worked for me since the floatation.
