Wholesale distribution of healthcare products, seals and controls hardly seems an obvious fit with a provider of back office and outsourcing services!

There's talk of a takeover bid. Potentially Capita

Even allowing for the election effect, there's something very odd about this share - movement of almost £1 over a couple of days. It's not a heavily traded stock but I don't think liquidity is the issue. It would be interesting to know.

Well I have left the building - amazingly sold at 8.89 in the first minutes after 08.00 sometime last week - my sale actually lowered the share price which shows how illiquid it is. ANd sold the rest around 8.60p about five minutes later. Fantastic company and I would expect one day they will be taken over. OUt for now - I think we may have a rocky ride til the election good luck

I remember stumbling across a register summary a year or two back on their website. Said there are only just over 1000 holders!

This stock is still really illiquid. I wonder if there is another year of good performance whether we will see a stock split.

Gawd! I still have a good holding but why did I halve it in December?

Agree looks a great buy. £5m of cash on b/s so borrow will be less 8m. At current share price this is now 14x my purchase price!

Yes, it looks a cracking deal. Paying 1x turnover for a profitable business with real assets and cash in the bank looks very attractive. The market seems to like it too!

At first glance this looks an excellent acquisition and a genuine expansion of geo coverage. End of Q4 they had £15m in cash, likely nearer £19m now, so the borrow for this business which produces over £3m per year is £8m and it increases eps from today. With Diploma's market being world wide I am sure this will generate further business so expect revenues to be well in excess of the current £22m pap for this part of the business. GIven the recent turbulence in the wider market this is good news for holders
