Silkstag's posts were an excellent example of when someone carried out proper research and actually posted the facts up for people to read. A very rare breed because the average deramper who turns out to be right and then takes the credit for it, normally does not post facts and figures and in some cases they are equally as dangerous listening to a deramper as a ramper. Simon Cawkwell's one line posts are a case in point. He will say a company is bankrupt and post no supporting views but everyone believes him and sells out. The share price subsequently multi bags when he is shown to be wrong or misleading other investors. Likewise the derampers here may have been right but if they had posted their research rather than simply scaremonger and gloat, more people might have seen sense. That's why these boards are dangerous and views one way or another should be ignored - unless supported with facts and figures as Silkstag did.

It is no good for the one line derampers saying no one listened to them, when they do not support their posts and they have to take responsibility as well for people losing money.

My doubts over the w/e came true quicker than I thought, bad luck guys. At least you didn't give me the usual "de-ramping troll" stuff ... atb.

The only people who fall for this are small time newbie PIs who really shouldnt be investing/trading. This is a wake-up call for them. I'm sympathetic but only to a point. They need to grow-up and smell the coffee. This is a tough marketplace and they should wise-up. There's a lot of petty point scoring here which is a bit irrelevant and very puerile. This company was/is very high risk as an investment and was only an option for those who can afford to take such risks

Acta- agreed but was has been disappointing is some of the people who have shamelessly ramped this in recent days.

We shall see.

The company hasn't collapsed, it's delisting with shareholders gaining a 20% slice of the new listed investment company - more than shareholders were offered at yco

Actually they have given away 80% of the listing. We retain 100% of the company as a private entity.

LOL

I see this is the best deal they can get for shareholders. By giving 80% of the company away.

Was there any indication things were this bad before?

I vaguely remember this stock from some time back. Run by some bloke called Adrian with a ponytail I think.

Whoever is in charge now has certainly surpassed themselves this time.

Good to have conflicting views on stocks Princeharry, people need to understand that is how bulletin boards work, I'm a bull here and hoping a new deal will transform the company, that comment applies to most small caps on Aim, you speculate and buy hoping for a deal so you can sell the shares for a large profit, others may disagree, I take both sides of the fence comments but there was that 20k buy at 20p and still the offer is below that, must be near 1% of the company that buy given how small the market cap is.

Wow! What an incredible screw up. Shares traded at over 200p last year, could've got a placing away at 50p - 100p lowest. Selling 80-odd percent of the company for £250k - you have to ask who's the 'lucky' buyer?

Sticking 1k in this was risky I thought but what about that 9.72p 131k buy when
the spread was 6-7p, are they crazy ?
