Could well be an ideal time to buy before any news. I honestly know nothing but how many times do you look back at a share price dropping quite big before a release.

The MMs have now narrowed the spread to 25% after someone sold 50k @1.5p - a big deal, that's worth all of.............£750 !

At least 3 people have posted that they had heard from a 'reliable' source that an update would be issued this week but nothing has been seen yet, so maybe these sources were not so credible after all !

I have a few "impeccable sources" here too, though I am struggling to get anything by way of confirmation. Hopefully the news will be preceded by another JV or two.

The longer the delay the more i think that some sort of deal is being worked .It is the only reason I can find for not releasing what must be price sensitive news
If it was a straight yes we have done well, or no the machines have not done so well ,surely that could have been released long ago ??
Anyone any thoughts?

All are plausible, as indeed is the fact they are waiting for sufficiently large sample size to be very confident about exactly what the technology delivers. They gave no timescale for the announcement of the JV, all we know is it is fully operational and not held to ransom by any power disruptions in the area.

I firmly believe your point number 1 to be the most likely. If it is number 3, then it'll have to be another one to chalk down to experience.

Could the delay in an announcement be due to one of the following or am I way off the mark?

1) The results are good and now they are signing some further deals with companies in other locations/countries

2) The results were as planned - however they have now been approached by a larger company and maybe bought out?

3) The results were not as expected and it's bad news, they have delayed an announcement to try and figure out what the issue is

Or most probably non of the above, sorry for speculating as most of the time when people speculate they are dead wrong. But still it may add some debate?

That chap with a 1 million of these, have you contacted the company recently?

Masurenguy - I am suggesting that the news, whatever it is, is being guarded as much as possible based on my belief that good news without the benefit of new signed JVs (and hence forwardly visible revenue projections) could be detrimental for all shareholders in that either copycat operations, or a take out at a price below that which might be considered right and proper by the management team and founder investors.

Are you suggesting that there is news that is known within the private domain ? The share price shot up to 4p in the days following the last RNS and since then it has come straight back down to where it opened on that day. Average daily share volume over the past 4 weeks has been only 125,000 which hardly implies any particular insider knowledge, either good or bad !

Two months have now elapsed since they announced that production had commenced at Grasfontein and there is still no further news !
