20/12/2011 07:48 | Opinion of the Independent Directors of Dhir India Investments plc In deciding whether or not to accept the Offer, the Independent Directors of DII, who have been so advised by Evolution Securities, believe that DII Shareholders should bear in mind that, whilst the Offer may not fully reflect the fundamental long-term value of DII's investment portfolio, there may be adverse consequences of not accepting the Offer as set out above. Consequently, DII Shareholders should carefully consider their own individual investment requirements and personal circumstances, as well as considerations set out by the Independent Directors of DII in this announcement, when deciding whether or not the Offer merits acceptance in whole or in part. In providing its advice, Evolution Securities has taken account of the commercial assessment of the Independent Directors. | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:41 | lol cf12...you were moaning there hadnt been any significant winners recently... there are a lot of cheap shares out there..just got to track them, buy them and hold em... | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:40 | yep tilts.. will reread..flying out for Xmas today but some of us have done well here - if we get more than 42p... i remember you said it was "worth" around 45p.... interestingly i bet you can still buy today at a large discount to 42p... | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:40 | M4, well played mate!!! I am going to NYC for Xmas tomorrow. Nearly bought another 50k yesterday! Have lots at 16p. Thanks for all the updates. | christianf12
20/12/2011 07:38 | Specto...they gave 7 reasons why to accept the offer and 1 why to reject it..all down to the risk of realizing value from those illiquid assets.. 74p nav..looks like cash dropped a bit to say 30p ...that leaves 44p and we are being 25% for the none cash cash assets.. 42p is better than 15 but if its worth 74p... | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:37 | Let them make a higher bid then! | tiltonboy
20/12/2011 07:36 | 30% isnt exactly awful... AIM is down 15% in the last 6 months so.... but cfr12 must feel happy..he bought a stack at 15-16p... so even with all the issues and problems with the fund it shows in the worst market in the world there is still upside and value if you are brave... bet the guy who forced the price down for months feels a chump as he;s been selling all the way down to 16p.. | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:34 | @moreforus - I've yet to finish reading everything, but: "...The Independent Directors still believe that the Offer Price neither fully reflects the fundamental longterm value of DII's investment portfolio nor includes sufficient premium for control of DII" | spectoacc
20/12/2011 07:34 | I have to say I wanted to see the figures too as the whole situation looked suspicious . . . and rightly so too with NAV just about halving . . . oh well, he who dares and all that . . . | cufes2
20/12/2011 07:32 | more, I didn't average down, as I wanted to see the figures first. I didn't get in until 32p, so having been down 50%, I end up with a 30% profit, and get an embarrassment off my hands. | tiltonboy
20/12/2011 07:28 | it is ..company are recommending it the NAV has dropped to 74p.... | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:24 | It's below my average I think - and miles below NAV. Anyone else think that "problems" have been made for the co to enable this offer to look attractive? Still - I'd feared the worse, it's in cash, and might not be the final word. | spectoacc
20/12/2011 07:21 | i take it its above your average tilts? | moreforus
20/12/2011 07:20 | yep tilts me too.. my small stake was worth 6k..now worth 17k... | moreforus

20/12/2011 07:05 | 42p CASH OFFER... hope you are still in at 15p cf12..thanks for making me buy some more... | moreforus
