The MMs generally mark it down in the morning. Possibly 0.45-0.55p spread at open tomorrow...

With a reduced spread I would say it is a good time to get in now before the AGM on Thursday. No doubt the shares will go up again to 0.7 - 0.8 level mid/end of next week.

Well either a fresh seller has appeared or the old seller is still dumping. 600k+ delayed sell at 0.5p and the offer moves down to 0.55p. I still expect that I will be able to buy in at circa 0.4p in the not so distant future....

Noah >>>> My comp. has been down most of the day but it looks as if no trade took place today. If that is the case it (imo) doesn't necessary mean that the seller has finished, merely that the MM's found no buyers to take stock today. As i suggested in 162/163 they will work on their selling order as and when and then "book" the total shortly before the close. If the overhang had been eliminated,I think we would have seen a modest technical rally.
You study graphs,I believe ... if so is there a decent "base" @ 0.40 (BTG's +ing level) and do we hit the 1st resistance @ 0.8/0.85(which is where Ilast sold). Should the stock clear .85p .... where do you think is the next meaningful resistance in chart terms??

Cheers.

I think the following may well be the case BTG/DS >>>>>

There is a seller -- possibly 1m. The MM's will work on the trade during the day and then "book" the tranaction (or part thereof) usually during the last 15mins. of the close. Markets as they are and in this stock I would very much doubt if a private investor would be able to sell in size - period - or without taking well below the "bid". If the "bid" is holding it suggests that the MM in question is taking this 600/- for a reason, because you can bet your bottom $ he's not taking them on his "book".
YES/NO .... any idea's??

No DS, still looking to get in circa 0.4p. However, at present there appears to be a seller in the wings which is driving the price lower and lower. Will wait to see when the seller stops and maybe then the price may be closer to my entry price. The MMs seem intent on driving the price lower. It will be interesting to see if the 200k seller shows its face again shortly...

I'm not sure what you're getting at, SirGary.

What I said wasn't meant to be deep - just to underline the fact that the board's point of view (in any company) should usually be the long term and that the decisions they make will therefore frequently be at odds with the interests of short term investors. As to whether DTL's board has made decisions are in the best long term interests of the company, I am in no position to judge one way or the other. Don't know enough about it, which is why I generally keep my mouth shut except when I think I have something amusing to say!

Has anyone else noticed the selling near to the close of trading on the last 3 consecutive trading days.

14/06/2002 200k 0.56p
17/06/2002 250k 0.56p
18/06/2002 200k 0.55p

I wonder if this seller is the same person and if so how much more they have to sell...

Seems to be lots of negative sentiment across the board - PMA, PAS, WLD and FAN all down today. Market is ripe for consolidation.

Martinleewangh - point taken on last deal but perhaps they are keeping their coffers for something bigger and better. Who knows??!!!

I am no expert (except in braille) but I thought management would really
be more concerned with the Co. ie long term investors.
Nothing heavy meant.
Mr. Sport,
I am sure AB will do the trick.
Hope the other GS can work some magic on(that other Co.)
Good luck all.
GS
