Low volumes today , but a firm price and a lift into the close , any chance of a delayed buy somewhere , anyone else still left in this

It maybe the staff know more than the dealers. Surely these numerous sales today will be staff shareholders.

A bit of a setback yesterday due to the strength of the Czech Crown, and other news. But trading for the third quarter comfortably ahead of last year.

Pat Barratt buys a few more and now holds 328,887

They announced it in July:

We know that these results will be miserable - its the outlook statement that will be the important thing on Wednesday.

Devro normally provide a date ahead of interims or prelims, but not so this time apparently. According to the Sunday Herald the interim statement will be released on Wednesday.

Well done Danny. Your timing was perfect.

I tried to buy some more but could not get a quote and deal trade online. However, I managed to buy 3k @ 113p on an "At Best" order. The mms appeared very reluctant to sell any all.

Good morning Besbury,

Excellent research as always ;-) I was interested in:

"However, shoppers will find it difficult to identify mutton products because there is no requirement to label it, except for pre-packed sausages. There is also no legal definition of what comprises mutton"

That would imply that sausages would be hardest hit because they are the only "honest" product. Even more astounding is that there is no legal definition of mutton. I always thought it was sheep meat older than 14 months. It will probably take the EU 10 years to define a sheep and another 5 to define mutton ;-(

Probably the main reason for yesterday's decline in the share price

A bit too quiet here.

A bungled order for 600k hit the price late last Friday but this share is a safe haven with good dividend upside

A rise in the share price looked to be on the cards today following an article in the Mail On Sunday yesterday, where MIDAS recommeded a buy for; "income seekers". Unfortunately, a very large sell of 529,801 appeared and knocked that on the head. See story on link.
