27/10/2004 05:06 | Two landmarks I am very much looking forward to are, (1) The re-entry of DVO to the FTSE 250 and (2) Arriving back at the June 1993 IPO strike price of 170p. At the present rate of progress, both objectives may well be reached sometime next year. Hopefully also, I would expect to hear an announcement from DVO regarding the completion of the sale of surplus land, before the year end, rather than having to wait for the prelims in March, I have reduced my shareholding in DVO recently, but still hold over 50k at an average buy price of 53p. Top heavy, was hardly adequate to describe DVO in my six figure value portfolio, (still 68%) so I considered it prudent to take some profits. My only continuing concerns for DVO are the weak $ v the £ and our present government's habit of telling us what we should or should not eat. To all my fellow DVO shareholders, enjoy your sausages. (And maybe air fresheners as well) | besbury
26/10/2004 23:43 | Up again tommorow? | goldennugget1

22/9/2004 11:22 | Good morning idioterna. It is of course xd day and noticeable that the bid price is holding ok, even though there have been 5 sell trades totaling over 50k. I was puzzled by yesterdays selling! Some people don't appear to like dividends. I still have 65k, so will collect a handy sum next month. Best regards B Edit: Two large trades of 250k and 303k spoil the day. 1p off the bid:-( | besbury
22/9/2004 11:09 | I'm not sure there will be any spectacularly good news on the way but I feel confident that the negative currency effects should be steadily negated and could indeed turn into something positive as sterling has weakened considerably of late. However, I am looking forward to the closure of the land sale in the next 2 months. | idioterna
17/9/2004 22:01 | price holding up nicely after slightly disappointing results,i,m sure good news must be coming. | clydeman
17/9/2004 21:58 | I've been holding from £0.50, slow but sure progress and don't intend to bail out until the story changes, looking forward to a hot summer, plenty of BBQ's and loads of Bangers! | remraf
17/9/2004 12:45 | still in them as well idio, all things considered it may be a bit slow but it feels as good as anywhere to keep the money these days | scrapman
17/9/2004 08:55 | Yep - I'm still holding, though not very many. Nice to see the share price recovering this week. | vkx
17/9/2004 08:48 | Anybody still holding Devro, or is it just me? | idioterna
09/9/2004 12:09 | Results were rather disappointing but the surplus land sale before the year end should tidy things up a little. Finally sterling is weakening too. Second half promises to be an improvement. | idioterna
07/9/2004 08:05 | Looking forward to a nice set of figures tomorrow. Anyone seen Idioterna around recently? | nuueva
01/9/2004 15:45 | Well I never! We have the first share price movement for 23 consecutive trading days. Augurs well for the first half results next Wednesday. | besbury
06/8/2004 08:12 | First Half results to be announced on Wednesday Sept. 8th. Hopefully, these should include an update on the sale of surplus land. They did say earlier that this disposal was likely to be completed during the third quarter. | besbury |
