Engage Platform: Cloud-Based Consumer Engagement Platform

Dev Clever, a leading developer of consumer engagement experiences, is pleased to announce that its new productised cloud-based gamification platform "Engage" has now launched.

Developed over 4 years, working with blue-chip brands in the UK, Engage is a consumer engagement platform that enables brands and retailers to deliver discount rewards and voucher driven consumer incentives that are fully controlled by the platforms proprietary gamification engine.

The new productised platform allows rapid deployment of new brand and retail campaigns as well as cloud-based Application Programme Interface (API) integrations with 3(rd) party strategic partners, enabling scalability across the UK and other countries.

Traditional discount driven incentive campaigns are subject to consumer participation restrictions that act as a control mechanism to reduce the risk of over redemption. These restrictions commonly include limitations on the values of rewards on offer, the total volume circulated and the number of redemption channels. In addition to these restrictions, it is also common that a brand or retailer will further mitigate the risk of over redemption by insuring the campaign though a specialist insurance provider, at an additional cost.

Gamification is an unrestricted mechanism that provides brands and retailers the platform to pre-determine the exact volume and value of consumer incentives prior to the campaign starting. This enables brands and retailers to drive higher levels of consumer engagement through the provision of higher value incentives and the removal of restrictions on consumer participation. This is a result of the gamification engine fully controlling the exact number of prizes, discount vouchers and coupon winners the campaign will allow. Use of the gamification engine also negates the need to insure against over redemption, meaning they can reach more consumers at less cost.

Engage offers brands and retailers a selection of customisable instant win and skill based games designed to enhance the consumer experience. These allow the consumer to be instantly gratified for their participation in a campaign by providing them with the chance to win instantly and select the location they would like to redeem their reward. Games are both device and technology agnostic, enabling brands and retailers to reach consumers using any smart device or computer with minimal integration in to their own platforms.

Engage's cloud-based infrastructure, which is driven through APIs, enable it to easily connect with third party voucher and coupon system providers as well as Electronic Point of Sale (Epos) system providers. This offers a seamless consumer experience when issuing coupons and vouchers from partner systems that can be redeemed in stores and venues using partner Epos systems. Brands and retailers can access the Engage platform on a SaaS (Software as a Service) based licence model which includes a set up and customisation fee along with a cost per transaction or pay per play fee.

Dev Clever aims to grow its Engage platform by expanding its strategic partner network of voucher and coupon providers, Epos system providers and reseller partners.
