I've skim-read the documents on Co.s House of 19 October. It's not all over yet by any stretch... Sale negotiations ongoing with "multiple parties". Creditors to be paid in full with the intention to convert to a CVL to allow a dividend payment if appropriate once outcome of sale process is known.

Mystery why Rudd bought 1.2m shares in August.

It's game over! Check Companies House for Administrators update. Such a shame - heaven forbid we end up with an AMR strain that wreaks havoc and yet could have been solved with DEST's product line.

I guess it depends if there is more than one interested party. ??? A low ball offer given the stage they've got to could easily go to £50m. I'm sure Tovey wanted to take the big boys on and run with it as a listed entity but that wasn't to be.

Ram out of cash and couldn't raise without huge dilution . The company over valued itself and thought it would do better privately but reality was very different . Now it will be sold off for peanuts and the boys probably get jobs with who buys it . Much will have been planned out already imo . Totally shafted shareholders yet again

But given the extensive fundraising/partnership discussions that have taken place over previous months, is a further FDA QIDP designation a significant enough game-changer in terms of interest in funding a commercialisation? And putting the company into administration is unlikely to help their negotiation position, to say the least.

Because he knew of the pending FDA status re XF Dermal

Administration may have been a prudent move given the circumstances and it does not necessarily mean game over for shareholders

That's the mystery. Why did Rudd buy a big chunk of shares a few weeks before the board put the company into administration?

Why not contact JP Jenkins the broker who are dealing on a matched market basis who may have a seller for your request

What a snip for Sebala this might me. If sizeable Royalties are down the road (IF) why not nip them in the bud and acquire Dest......

I think the share holders will be alright as the company had money in the bank and little in the way of debt. Also I doubt that Nigel Rudd would have bought a large chunk of shares in the market only to see it vanish a few weeks later
And the FDA approval today is big news

Still activity and interest despite the company now being delisted and in administration, although I'm not sure that shareholders will end up with much (or anything) even if the administrators achieve an optimal outcome:

It is good to see that there is renewed interest in inhaled XF drugs for Cystic Fibrosis, I have always thought that CF might be the best way in for first approval and the news today concerning QIDP status for XF-73 Dermal to treat burn wound infections will help attract interest from potential investors or acquirers

Hats off for calling this correct Bones i must admit with the advance phase 3 products they had i never expected administration.
im guessing pharma simply wasnt interested in the space DEST was working in.
Will be interesting to see who eventually gets hold of the Tech.

Thankfully no damage done, however GL to those who may have taken a hit.

Zen do you think that the issued share capital will be reduced in number too?

Personally I think they already have a pre-agreement in place with an investor(s), otherwise why would one go through all the pain and cost of delisting on a suggestion. After delisting I suspect magically funding to arrive.

I've bought more and will end up with a share certificate. Any future gains I'm happy to pay tax on.

Some interesting posts on the Lse forum. Holding these delisted shares could be problematic. I've sold.

If they get this right then they'll get the funding - probably from the US via p.e - get Phase 3 completed and then look to list on the NASDAQ - I've bought in from low levels and am happy to tuck these away for a few years.
