10/6/2015 22:06 | Thanks vfast. I've decided not to post here again until the Densitron share price is back to 8 pence. See you soon x. | heartylaugh
10/6/2015 21:31 | Bakunin, It's best to ignore heartylaugh he has been posting on this thread since 2007 with the same old rubbish and you will notice 99% of his posts are on DSN. I’ve got him down as a sad sick individual with no life. | vfast
10/6/2015 18:51 | heartylaugh "Either you are misinformed or have other motives. Do some research. Then post here why you, as an investor, think Densitron are a major anything. Cheers :-)" Looks like you're the one-company DSN man. Pray tell me what is wrong with pointing out that "Immersion Corp (U.S.), AAC Technologies Holdings, Inc. (China), Densitron Technologies Plc (U.K.), Haption SA (France), Johnson Electric Group (China), Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (U.S.), Tactus Technology Inc. (U.S.), Precision Microdrives Ltd (U.K.), Texas Instruments, Incorporated (U.S.), and 3D systems Corp (U.S.)are some of the major companies in the haptics technology market". Are you a one-company-focused shorter? Or what do you think my motives are? That looks like pretty good company that DSN is keeping. I beg your pardon if I wasn't aware that DSN gets excellent market research coverage when I bought the shares, my interest piqued at why £20m revenue hardly ever ends up with any profit on the bottom line but, all the same, a tech company trading at almost below NAV when I bought and with a piece of land that was potentially worth more than the company's operations. What other research can be done about DSN's display technology? It's not as if the touch-screen stuff takes centre-stage on their website. Cheers:-) | bakunin
10/6/2015 13:27 | Encouraging update and on track to achieve 1.03p eps for the year so P/E is pretty undemanding at current levels with further recovery (1.48p forecast for 2016)in prospect. | valhamos
10/6/2015 13:04 | So the company will make an operating profit in H1 - but that is an operating profit before exceptional items one must assume. Nicely worded statement!! | clocktower
05/6/2015 22:50 | Also perhaps of interest, I have been taking a look at current land values in Blackheath and see one plot for sale of 700m2 at £1.1m. This does not have DPP. Extrapolating this to our 5000m2 site would potentially derive a value in the order of £7-8m. Other data from GVA gives guidance for land values in the 'South east' of circa £3.25m for a plot of this size but that would need a factor added for London. I recall a figure of £5m previously being mentioned as its potential value so that might not be far off the mark. Its current valuation on the books from 2010 is £500k which in the 2014AR the Board note as still being current (without DPP).The current market cap of DSN is just £6.1m which, if DPP is granted for this land, will be destined to history. This may perhaps be the reason for the recent increase in valuation of the company of over 125% since April.I look forward to the AGM. | norbert colon
05/6/2015 22:09 | No further information which is understandable as it would otherwise be commercially sensitive. The facts can be taken that if BA give the green light it will be good news although exactly what revenue and profit projections are assigned is unknown to me at the moment. If they don't approve the product then the R&D costs are already accounted for but not sure if any revenue has been built into 2015 forecasts - hopefully not. Even if BA don't approve it, other airlines / carriers may potentially be interested. All supposition for now but currently to be taken as a positive. | norbert colon
05/6/2015 21:58 | FANTASTIC NEWS Norbert. But are there any facts available which might be of interest to share holders? | heartylaugh
05/6/2015 21:55 | Interestingly I have just been doing some research into the status of the baggage tags that Densitron are developing in partnership with others for BA. I have been advised that these tags have been through further development and prototypes and are now finalised and with BA for assessment. Good news and to be discussed further at the AGM. | norbert colon
05/6/2015 21:30 | London office - let's have a tour. | heartylaugh
05/6/2015 17:44 | Norbert, yes, a tour of the offices and factories? | heartylaugh
05/6/2015 16:13 | Yes I think you should raise this, and all meet in the London office for a showcase of densitrons products ,,, single file , one in one out ! | lcd interest
05/6/2015 16:09 | Hearty Most AGMs are held at the house broker or advisors offices although I get your point. I guess you would need to ascertain what would be obtained by looking around their offices? It would be good if they set up a specific investor day where they could showcase their products etc but that wont happen after the AGM although I suggest we raise it at the AGM. | norbert colon
05/6/2015 16:01 | Back to my question, can we all shuffle though the Densitron nerve cente before or after the AGM? In vote for after, to work off the sandwiches. There will be sandwiches? | heartylaugh
05/6/2015 15:58 | Bakunin 5 Jun'15 - 14:33 - 1808 of 1808 0 0 Bought into DSN as a bit of a speculative punt and now find it figuring as a "major" company in a report about haptic technology! hxxp://www.whatech.c Either you are misinformed or have other motives. 04/6/2015 23:34 | Well, as said before I'm going. Why isn't the AGM being held at the City Of London H.Q. but 'at the offices of Westhouse Securities Limited'? Can shareholders have a peek at Densitron H.Q. before or after the AGM? Anyone know? | heartylaugh
04/6/2015 10:50 | can u find out if BA are launching yet? | lcd interest
03/6/2015 12:23 | Yes NC I will be at the AGM. | vfast
03/6/2015 12:01 | Is anyone attending the AGM? I am going and look forward to meeting some others there. | norbert colon
03/6/2015 11:56 | Steady progress since the Newcastle situation has been resolved. Plus it appears the business is on the up and isis has made a good point regarding the BH land. 6 houses at around £3 million a house would value the land at £6 million now on the books at £0.5 million. All in all there is a lot of potential upside as the Westhouse report released on the 20th May alludes too. MM's are after stock, they will only sell 500 shares at 9p however you can sell 200,000 shares at a premium to the 8p no problem (online deals). | vfast
03/6/2015 11:39 | Councils are screaming for land to build on to - might sway the Blackheath decision. | isis
03/6/2015 11:36 | Think we've seen a good turnaround here myself.....let's see what they have to say at the AGM next week ! 22 April 2015 PRELIMINARY UNAUDITED RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2014 LONDON--Densitron Technologies PLC (DSN.LN) Wednesday posted a swing to 2014 profit, a performance it attributed to the positive impact of its strategic review at the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014. The company which develops electronic displays recorded pretax profit of 340 million pounds ($507.8 million) during the 2014 year-ended in December compared with loss of GBP520 million a year earlier. Revenue increased by 3.5% to GBP20.7 million. "In 2014 the business progressed significantly delivering a substantial improvement over the result in the previous year. With the increase in the orderbook at the end of the year the business is in a good position to continue to grow in the coming year," Jan G Holmstrom, Chairman said. Orderbook increased 23.6% to GBP13.1 million from GBP10.6 million a year earlier. | cheshire man
03/6/2015 11:08 | Seems to be getting ahead of itself imo, with the speed of the rise. | clocktower
26/5/2015 07:48 | COuld you please send me a copy of the minutes ? I am wanting to see if they have done any production with BA also, and what they have achieved in the new territories much talked about in previous statements , like Italy or india If you ask them about the items they announce like indian expansion etc, then it's clear they have to respond , after all, they announce these things for the city surely in the first place ,,,, | lcd interest |
