Ha ha ha, Charly your so transparent, keep your Nobby grievances off this board please, DEMG is going nowhere or maybe perhaps a bid target.

Hope this company stays afloat but far too risky for me to invest yet.

Should do. Lets' hope they learn from Lidco, ramp up the sales in H2 and sell the company on back of a high growth updateIt would make a good start if they sold the boxes and not just the probes, although that might be difficult with a box from the last centuryMrC

Government has just announced an extra £5.4 bn over next 6 months to clear some of the backlog in procedures due to Covid, surely this should increase the use of/sales for DEMG..

Yes. Hard to believe it has taken so long to happen when the last commercial news outside half year reporting was only on 10 October 2019. That is a month and a half less than two years. This shower need to exit and they need to up the pace the news flow, if not now then from interims.Half minded to buy some more.

Interesting chart from Nuffield Trust that suggests NHS hospitals are just about getting back to pre-Covid levels of activity. This should be good for DEMG as will be the inevitable programmes to catch up on the massive waiting lists for major surgery

www.nuffieldtrust.org.uk/resource/chart-of-the-week-are-hospitals-returning-to-pre-covid-activity-levels

It does suggest things should have been starting to get better towards the end of H1

So that is over 1% of the company issued to NEDs to reward perpetual under-performance from directorsFair enough to be get paid in paper when they have spent all the cash already, but they really should be taking them at a substantial premium. No less than 6p a share, anybody?MrC

Nobby - Note usual TP disclaimer -"Please note that TPI’s valuation is based on financial modelling and there is no guarantee that such a valuation will ever be realised therefore please do not base investment decisions on this valuation alone. Also please note that past performance is not a reliable
indicator of future results"

Ho ho ho!!

As you say a buyout is inevitable here IMHO. DEMG doesn't have the marketing clout to grow sales effectively yet they have the best bit of kit by miles. The value to a heavyweight with unlimited marketing spend is very high!

TPI note out which could be the reason for the rise. Again they talk about a takeover....

Because of the exact amounts eg 150k, it leads me to believe it may be a director but they wouldn't generally break up their total trade, more likely to be a larger scale investor/institution trying not to scare the mms with a bigger trade, jmhi. After this mornings update I feel the only way forward is a buyout, investors wouldn't put up with another placing and the company needs someone with deeper pockets to improve the available equipment and a mighty marketing push..

Tracking back through the RNS announcements, I note that the first half sales first reached £1.1m in 2003. This was just after the launch of surgical probes. 18 years later, Mr Keen is still the chairman, sales are once again £1.1m and he is still telling us to expect growth from sales of surgical probes.Would a change in the chairman not be a better bet than continuing with forlorn hopes from the current one?

A small sigh of relief - At least the company is still alive and has working funds - Possibly so lowly priced that might attract interest from the current wave of American funds looking to plunder UK coys but maybe such a minnow that not worth their time -
