If they swoop now, they won't get it for 4pEither the swooper tries to buy a meaningful stake in the market, say, 15% to get started. Buying 100,000,000 or so shares will push the price up beyond 4pOr they seek a recommendation from a Board that, with a few friends, owns a big stake and should drive hard bargain. Despite my reservations on competence, I think the Board is greedy enough to get more than 4p. Less than 8p would be failure

Imminent bid? Doubt itBid this year? AbsolutelyAnd at much higher price. Less than 8p would be failure. Do the right things and 12p or more is achievableIt would be natural for some who have cashed out on LID sale to buy DEMG. I may do that with my small LID holding but not until 2020 trading horror update is behind us MrC

And the MMs are running for cover now. What on earth is going on? I was going to buy 250k at 1.85 and the price moved to 1.95 before I got my act together.

For me this just has to be due to an imminent bid materialising. Just IMHO of course...

Still can't get a firm price with ii, nice little tick up on no volume, is this anything to do with LIDCO no longer listed?

Yes the RSP is amazingly one sided here. The best offer is 1.8499 and I can't get a quote online for even 10k shares. Meanwhile the MMs are bidding up for loads...

Hmmm..... However, I can still buy via spreadbet at 1.8p so have picked up a few

The trades at 1.75p are buys. The MMs moved it on apparently very few bought so seem very sensitive to any sustained buying.

And the MMs are bidding 1.745p so virtually no spread.

The RSP is very one sided. The MMs are bidding up for 1 million and there is only 100k on the offer at the full 170p price. Any buying and this will move quickly....

Your right about the volumes there not much in monetary terms, the Sp moved 25% yesterday on one and a half million shares circa £21,000, there are certainly some p&d merchants in here but not everyone!! I'd be looking for lots of 500-750k+ trades

I had forgotten they were holders here. They were in a previous stock I was involved in as well (TYR) and did extremely well. They bought in at the bottom around 1p and the company eventually got taken out for 3.2p!

I agree the company should be worth more than LID but you can't get away from the reality of the share price and the current market cap. Let's hope for a realistic valuation....
