I suppose it is encouraging that these have recovered a little. There seem to be a couple of diehard fans with deep pockets who must either know something we don't or believe they know something we don'tAny clues?MrC

Pleased to see some buying albeit small trades, won't take much to move the Sp north!

Mornin janatha, understand where your coming from, most of the bod have bought or been given shares in Lou of wages more recently! Mms here have a strange system - the more shares that are bought they lower the deal price, now over 1m possibly 1.5m share bought and the deal buy price lowers from 1.379 to 1.366 I think it is, no wonder the Sp rarely goes up. We need Nobby back he normally appears when the Sp rises!!

Would be nice if the board bought a few million as a sign of confidence in the company.

Hi janatha, there has been someone buying in 500k blocks for the last 9 months or so, due to the trade going through at the mid price I would "guess" it was a buy. Over the last week there have been circa 900,000 buys but the Sp hasn't moved, the strangest trades are 2 x 100,000 buys minutes after the close, personally if I buy a share I want to see the Sp increase, why buy minutes after the close?? I guess only a large investor wouldn't want to influence the Sp and keep it low whilst they build their holding. imho.

Is 500,000 a buy or a sell ?

Hi Chris I've been in since day 1, it's just the price action just doesn't follow the Sp even more so in DEMG, they'll use the market sentiment excuse!!

As we know it is the kind of share you have to patient with, when it moves it moves............

With the drop in the Sp late yesterday afternoon I assumed there was a late sell in the system, with yesterday's buys and the previous days circa 280,000 buys, it appears that with DEMG buying shares lowers the Sp, or is it more a case of mm manipulation!! Also feed up of the mms selling shares (buys) at lower than the full Ask price to save them raising the Sp, I realise this is AIM but this needs investigating?

A few little nibbles at this bargain price, if I was a gambling man I'd say the trade @ 1.36 was an internal company buy just like the finance directors trade recently?

Sort of. Turner Pope said

"the Pandemic may have served to highlight the relevance and opportunity Deltex Medical’s preeminent Doppler technologies presents to a number of larger sector players who may wish to expand their market opportunity into this space"

Can't see the note unfortunately but do Turner Pope make any mention that they still think the company could be a takeover target..??

They bought a stack at the start of this year just before sales collapsed so I doubt they know much. More likely this is being done to make us think they know something and stop a wave of selling after the utterly dismal first half performanceOr it may be in a non-specific realisation that they need to make some positive changes and start finding a buyerPositive changes could include:New chairNew, smaller boardNew advisersNew monitorNew business modelNew marketing storyMaybe they are coming but I doubt itMrC

Finance director David Moorhouse just bought 370,000 shares and I wouldn't be surprised if the other 200k buy @ 1.35 was a bod, gives you faith in the company directors buying, and do they know something?

Turner Pope have published a note which echoes my earlier post. Potential for strong recovery with massive catch up needed on delayed surgery and they don't seem too worried about cash with grant money and some US payroll support

Interims were published around the same time as last year, I'm afraid I don't get your logic about trying to sneak them out first thing on a Mon morning lol. The interims were I'll agree poor, we've seen no financial uptick due to Covid despite the increase in sales in the U.K. and France. We need a merger or takeover to push the company forward, someone with deep pockets that can invest and finance a new monitor.

Lots of chat from senior NHS doctors that they are ready for a second surge in coronavirus but also that this time they are prepared for it and it will not disrupt major surgery

If that is remotely correct, we should expect a fairly rapid uptick in probe sales run rates both from surgery getting up to speed and fro ICUs as they treat the second wave

Yes, LID did much better than DEMG in Q1 but mostly through monitor sales. Unfortunate that DEMG don't have a monitor to sell but they are getting grant money to get in with it. Shouldn't be too long before they are the ones with the new toy and that is when getting the business model correct will be vital. My view is that it needs to be as close to SaaS as possible
