NHS hospitals made to adopt promising new treatments

hxxps://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/nhs-hospitals-made-to-adopt-promising-new-treatments-n80ctdf2x

Don’t know how Gov will make adoption of new tech mandatory. Over 20 years and many initiatives with ‘sticks’ and ‘carrots’; has not worked. Would need to change clinicians job description and terms and conditions. That is likely to be harder than Brexit!

Hopefully, with a change in FD, they will get back to putting the updates out within a couple of weeks of the year end maximum. They have been getting sloppy and it would be good to see a return to where they were especially if the news is as good as indicated by directors buyingMrC

Trading update due around the 27th January for sales upto 31 Dec 2019, buying suggests a good update and expecting a tick up if this buying continues.

Someone wanted to sell @ 1.35 so placed an order (fill or kill) once the 1m buy moved the bid up to 1.35 the trade happened that why it's black.

Arfs obviously well educated, but he's too deep for me, then again I don't understand Welsh !! And yes nice to see 1,000,000 buys shame the 50k pre-programmed trade stopped the Sp from rising.

Well, if Smithie thought that was good, there goes a 1,000,000 buy for £14,000 which is pretty solid for a small company AND it's actually the one this thread is aboutOr at least, with apologies to Arf, mostly aboutMrC

Janatha I agree DEMG second half is always better than the 1st, koffers will have been boosted by the options purchases, there has been someone selling small amounts 12-20k most days in my mind to keep a lid on any rises. Only niggle is, if it was Ewan's options why didn't he take them up himself, he must have gotten a "drink" out of it!!

Who in their right mind would bet against management by selling shares? Why would the board buy a chunk if the trading statement coming out in Jan?? is going to be less than positive.

Well that's over an hour since the tick-up and no late reported trades, perhaps this is the DEMG Christmas bounce?

My understanding is Ewan's options were forward sold yesterday before they reached the market today, he had buyers lined up. The repeat trade was in black so wasn't a today trade and didn't add onto the shares traded today total, Ex Sapper.
