17/1/2018 09:46 | They have put out the good news and on the basis of the hike in the share price will now seek to raise some money. Incidentally, why is it that so often on the day or thereabouts that DEMG make an announcement LID does the same? It is uncanny. Today is no exception. | orange1
17/1/2018 09:44 | For those who are actually interested in DEMG itself: The annual probe sales are about 12,000. 6 hospitals @ say 40 probes a month = 2880 a year. That's a 25% rise taking the US sales from £1.9mln to £2.4mln But its only £500K extra a year. Along with 500K in annual savings + another 500K savings as per interims, that could take the annual loss close to 500K, instead of £2mln. My issue is, we've seen these probe sales numbers quoted before and they did not come to pass. The whole point is, it takes a lot of probe sales growth to make a difference to the bottom line. On the other hand, concerted probe sales growth across US accounts would make a big difference. Judging by the lack of sales growth in the US, many of the accounts must be running at very low levels, so I would like to hear how many that is. Because accounts 'switching on' properly is going to make a much bigger difference than say 15% growth on accounts that are already running. If half of them are only running at 10 a month and then they intend to switch on to 50 a month... that's a different story. | yump

17/1/2018 09:01 | yup loads sold still climbing - heading towards 200% now :-) | tel11
17/1/2018 08:51 | Wait until the punters start selling. This would all be different if we knew that each added account resulted in overall sales growth. As it is, each added account gives more likelihood that they might, at some point in the next couple of years, come close to breaking even. | yump
17/1/2018 08:47 | 100% COMING UP | tel11
17/1/2018 08:35 | imo this is pure bottom fishing trading, as the price has never risen 50% on the announcement of any of the previous major hospital accounts, with or without other tied in hospitals. Quite a few started with this number of probes per month. Its the next set of figures that will tell whether sales have been recovered from those 2 accounts that had 'reorganised' sales teams (I think that was the word). I hope it does work out though, even if I only recover to a modest loss ! So much for the government banging on about how good the NHS is: "its starting points for lengths of stay for these types of surgery were already around half the NHS England average." | yump
17/1/2018 08:26 | By the look of it there's quite a few people watching and magic numbers around 1p as always attracts buyers, despite the fact that no end of new US accounts have made little difference to DEMG's fortunes. Clearly there's not many shares available as I tried a very modest buy and it was cancelled as the share price went above the limit. I suppose a last ditch attempt at averaging down might be worthwhile, but I'm not sure what business prospects I'm averaging down on, as apart from initial orders from each US account, it looks like they just don't grow overall. | yump
17/1/2018 08:03 | Nice to see, let us hope this is the start of our long road to recovery........ | chrisdgb

17/1/2018 07:35 | Anyone brace enough to add on this news? It would certainly be an opportunity to average down! Have placed mine in the virtual bin...a good few grand down the drain. | audigger
16/1/2018 00:20 | You really are an unpleasant little person aren't you. Didn't we have an important enough job or weren't we listened to enough ? I wonder why. Ahh diddums. Poor you. | yump
15/1/2018 18:43 | more research could have prevented this | buywell3
15/1/2018 18:40 | Bizarrely it will cost me to sell now as I took part in the placing in July with EIS, which is now worth more than my holding and there would be an EIS clawback if I sell! Grrr ! | bscuit
15/1/2018 17:47 | It's better than 2009's turnover! It's better than 2008's turnover! It's better than 2007's turnover! It's better than 2006's turnover! It's better than 2005's turnover! It's better than 2004's turnover! | arf dysg |
