If LidCo want to buy Deltex, that whould prove that Deltex have something which LidCo want. That would prove that LidCo has been secretly jealous of Deltex all these years.

Strange price action today was down at 3.60 most of the day then at the close jumped to 4 with no trades, is this just a glitch or are Lidco about to make an offer?

If you look at Deltex's news flow since it became a listed company, you'll notice that contract news is comparatively rare. You should probably wait for the pre-close update, that will presumably be in July.

Pretty simple sales strategy.

"OK, so you're not into new-fangled product1 at the moment or in the near future."
"I gather product2 is your preferred one - we can quote for those if you like"

Hence an ongoing contact and conversation and some sales meanwhile. The only proviso being that you don't go straight to product2 for the easy sale until you're very sure progress on product1 is not going anywhere for a while.

"But don't come back to this office without some committment from them to keep product 1 on the agenda !"

Ive been looking at this and don't understand why with apparently a very accurate doppler probe DEMG felt they needed to add to a pressure trace analysis program like their competitors and now need an impedance gizmo like other competitors - three different approaches to the same thing - doesn't make sense - none of their landmark papers involve any of this? Is this a fundraising story?

Balance sheet in GB
Deltex Medical Group PLC has a Debt to Total Capital ratio of 43.02%, a higher figure than the previous year's 1.63%.



Cash flow in GBP
In 2016, Deltex Medical Group PLC did not generate a significant amount of cash. Cash Flow from Financing totalled 2.33m or 36.76% of revenues. In addition the company used 1.82m for operations while cash used for investing totalled 558.00k.
