10/7/2020 07:55 | Agreed, quite positive IMO! By my scratchings H1 20 revenues are up c. 4.6% on last year touching c. EUR 15.2m. The weak link as reported is PKO revenues which are down ~30.6% with 713 produced tonnes not sold. Shifted at the prevailing prices the inventory should net c. EUR 448K. I think LM's summary is spot on, at least from my reading of the report. The CPO extraction rate is not exactly top of class, there's still an extra 1% or so getting away (over EUR 640K). | outlawinvestor
10/7/2020 07:47 | Nursing a 30% loss, but happy to hold until next year now. | 2vdm
10/7/2020 07:43 | Fag packet calculation suggests approx 1 million euros additional sales from lower volumes, so trading performance should be much improved on H1 last year. | chadders
10/7/2020 07:24 | A positive H1 update - DKL will "report a more profitable H1 financial performance compared to last year". Last year's H1 produced £1.4m EBITDA, so this year should be pretty respectable following the CPO price rise. If only production had been better this would have been a bumper year...maybe next H1 we'll get both improved volumes AND prices, PLUS the start of cashew production..... | rivaldo
08/7/2020 07:29 | Well things appear to be moving apace regarding the cashew nut project so hopefully the delays caused by Covid are behind us. The turnkey nature of the plant will derisk the installaton significantly. | chadders
07/7/2020 16:51 | CPO price jumps back to $630.. | chadders
06/7/2020 11:17 | @rivaldo - couldn't have said it better! | outlawinvestor
06/7/2020 11:10 | ...or could it be that total trades today add up to just £4k (EDIT - now £12k!), and that it's improbable to draw sweeping conclusions (good or bad) from such tiny trades? :o)) It's probably simply that a couple of people needed a bit of cash and couldn't see the share price moving significantly for a while. Which may well be the case. Although we're due any day now (1) the monthly production update and (2) then the AGM statement early next month. | rivaldo
06/7/2020 10:52 | Now that is interesting - Delivery rns BUT share price falls on rns [Down 8% at time of posting and this on a day when FTSE up 1.9%) - Could it be that worries about further delays on cashew plant being completed in time to process next year's crop? | pugugly
06/7/2020 08:21 | Good to see that cashew faciity construction is progressing well - and "in time to capitalise on the 2021 peak harvest season". Hopefully the directors are being conservative in preparing the market for a Q2'21 completion date, and perhaps we'll get a pleasant surprise in Q1: | rivaldo
03/7/2020 10:54 | Should see an update next week, at least by the 10th if they keep up the monthly production updates. | outlawinvestor
01/7/2020 08:10 | Good chance of an update tomorrow methinks. June production, Q2 and H1 all due and DKl are normally quite timely. | chadders
29/6/2020 11:24 | AEP's outlook from today's AGM statement: The CPO price ex-Rotterdam closed at $576/mt on 2 June 2020, representing a 34% decrease from the start of the year at $878/mt. Palm oil prices remain volatile. Whilst the CPO price may recover as major palm oil consuming countries gradually emerge from economic lockdown, the indications are that the Coronavirus pandemic is likely to cause a worldwide recession which could have an adverse impact on the consumption and usage of palm oil even if economic activities are improving. | outlawinvestor
29/6/2020 07:37 | Agreed and good to see the manufacturing of the cashew processing plant has re-started in Italy. The strategy of diversifying bodes well for next year, when it will hopefully be up and running. | 2vdm
26/6/2020 16:46 | Yes no surprises and hopefully the close to what has been a very miserable two year run. | chadders
26/6/2020 07:41 | Results for 2019 are out. No surprises AFAICS. The outlook is most important, and therefore it's good to see that DKL: "remain on track to report a positive half year EBITDA for 2020. In addition, the advancement of our cashew project and the fertiliser programme at Ayenouan remain intact and so will provide us with the platform for growth we set out to put in place." | rivaldo
25/6/2020 10:51 | Dekel Agri-Vision @DekelAgriVision A short video of our construction site at Tiebissou. | cheshire man
24/6/2020 17:02 | Another tick up in the CPO price to $625 | chadders
24/6/2020 16:37 | OutlawInvestor, since the 500000 sell at 2.2p on the 19th June all the 2.4p trades have been buys. Why the share wasn't marked down after that sell I'm not sure but it's interesting anyhow. | chadders
24/6/2020 13:15 | Turns out I could "top-up" 100K for 2.4p! Unfortunately for everyone else my trade ticked up the offer (at least for now)! Makes me wonder just how many of the previous transactions at 2.4p were buys or sells. | outlawinvestor
23/6/2020 23:04 | Plenty to sell, note the comments re June production and higher stock levels reported on 10th June.... | chadders
23/6/2020 21:37 | Yes, but have they got any to sell at this moment in time? | poleaxe
23/6/2020 12:37 | The CPO price is again roaring ahead - $620 as of Friday, compared to $504 exactly a year ago. | rivaldo
18/6/2020 18:49 | Thanks for that rivaldo. At the same time DKL share price was 25% higher than it is now. The vagaries of the small caps market... | chadders |
