Very disappointing update. The management are fools to themselves long-term if they think they can sit on information and delay its release. The fall is overdone and has been a pullback from the worst. There is still lots of potential here and Rivaldo has done sterling work in postings.
Sales are only marginally down so the company have the luxury of time before the q4 to get themslves in gear.

I agree with the comments about management credibility. They need to have a long, hard look in the mirror.

PE of 6 for this FY still. And a 1.7% yield. 1.7p should still be achieved given the increased price of CPO.

Management or LACK OF IT : Was on watch list but was never quite convinced of depth of Management - potential always seemed just round the corner but corner always moving backwards - This mornings news has reinforced (unfotunately) gut feel as Africa needs the employment and earnings. Will still watch but wait.

Mas - huge self inflicted own goal - made themselves look like disingenuous charlatans.

Watching management now like a hawk - regardless as to the progress made over the last 18 months, low valuation and huge potential - one more mendacious stunt like that and i'll be taking my medicine!

This is what Chairman Tillery stated just 3 weeks ago when the interims were published. This reflected a positive outlook with no indications whatsoever in relation to any significant falls in production during Q3, which ended at the same time and therefore they must have been aware of it then.

"The first half of the year has seen DekelOil acquire 100% of Ayenouan, further strengthen our balance sheet, pay out a maiden dividend and report record sales and profits. There is clear momentum behind the business, both at the operational and corporate level and we expect this momentum at the very least to be maintained going forward."

Management have now undermined their credibility with todays Q3 announcement just 3 weeks later. This just underlines why the shareprice has failed to perform despite their continual assertions of progress and momentum. A totally negative platform for a fledgling AIM overseas operator !

"Production for the nine months to 30 September 2017 totalled 31,681 tonnes of CPO, 2,112 tonnes of PKO, and 2,866 tonnes of PKC compared to 34,323 tonnes of CPO and 2,520 tonnes of PKO in the comparable nine month period in 2016. Lower Q3 production caused by relatively poor harvest in what is typically a low season in Côte d'Ivoire

CPO sold at EUR640, 11% premium to international benchmark prices, enabling total product sales for the nine month period to 30 September 2017 to be in line with the equivalent period last year despite lower year on year Q3 production. CPO international benchmark prices averaged EUR578 during Q3

Validates management's ongoing strategy to maximise value from each fruit processed - installation of extra 3,000 tonne storage tank in Q2 provides DekelOil with flexibility over timing of CPO sales and prices achieved

DekelOil Executive Director Lincoln Moore said, "As an agricultural company, fluctuations in harvests from one year to the next are par for the course and were experienced by all Mill operators during Q3. At the financial level, specifically in terms of the value of total product sales, we have been able to offset much of the lower production caused by the relatively poor harvest season: the installation of a 3,000 tonne storage tank earlier this year allowed us to finesse the timing of sales to achieve higher prices. We intend to utilise the remainder of the low season to embark on further value-adding initiatives in time for the start of the next peak harvesting period, and I look forward to providing further updates on our progress in due course."

oh dear..there is always a reason when a share is trading at a very low earnings multiple. Chart said it all really.Hopefully things will correct themselves by the year end.

Yet again an early markdown has been reversed and the price is stable. Encouraging stuff.

If only the early morning seller stopped, then these buyers might decide they're willing to start paying 12.5p+ for stock instead of getting bargain prices below 12p!
