07/3/2017 08:27 | Once it falls below 50 pence which it will I see 40-45 | simon templar qc

03/3/2017 11:06 | fox, not up to date on that one. | essentialinvestor
03/3/2017 11:05 | Foxy LOL I was thinking the same with regards to Ashley. So why isn't he taking a stake? No I have to say regardless of the price I do see further downside. | simon templar qc
03/3/2017 10:18 | Has Ashley still got an interest in DEB? He took out options a couple of years ago didn't he? | 1fox1
03/3/2017 10:09 | Mike could buy this with pocket change if he wanted, not sure I see that though imv. | essentialinvestor

03/3/2017 09:31 | Service sector slipped to below forecasts. | simon templar qc
03/3/2017 09:18 | Mike Ashley concerned about High St, he is still buying niche businesses like AP in prepack. Neither do I think Debenhams introducing food is a good play the market saturated! Debenhams weakness when the market has risen is a further sign of no confidence. The High St can only get worse not better with rates rises and minimum wages to rise. Consumers are over borrowed as it is. | simon templar qc
03/3/2017 09:04 | Unfortunately I see price fall under 50 | simon templar qc
02/3/2017 14:54 | What's with the big turnover today then? | 1fox1
02/3/2017 14:22 | Terminated, it's a fair point and made the same comments frequently, think for yourself often best. With DEB would not see this as a cyclical negative, it's a structural one imv, and that is more tricky, it may be worth more to someone else, just possibly. All IMV only. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 14:21 | Being shorted to b*ggery imho | pillion
02/3/2017 14:18 | I remember when the building stocks flattened after brexit and people were suggesting they could go under £1. The banks also. Everytime an expert subatatiated the price, within 6 months most are 30-40% up. If I listened to experts I'd never make any money.Ill go for common sense anyday. Highly unlikely they will report profits down 20-30 percent. So for me ill settle for 66 p in 4 months time, but until then it will be a stockbrokers play thing.. Good luck all. | terminated
02/3/2017 14:04 | Berenberg pointed out that Debenhams’ shares “trade at an 8.0x CY17 EV/EBIT multiple, a c18% discount to high street peers Next and M&S.” They added: “Considering Debenhams’ narrower consensus forecast EBIT margin and greater EPS decline; we believe the discount is justified.” | simon templar qc
02/3/2017 12:47 | John Lewis fashion down but own brands performed better. Debenhams have a sale on circa 25% however so does JL | simon templar qc
02/3/2017 10:43 | Would be more comfortable with wider markets than DEB. No real cathalyst for markets to sell off here, UKX dividends nicely increasing. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 10:30 | By the way walbrock it was a very good analysis. I am just more negative than the market, which is trading too high in the current economic outlook. | simon templar qc |
