Strange drop - I guess they weren't thrilled with the percentages. I did offload some and have just added most of them back.

Dunno - I have been allocated (I think) over twice my minimum entitlement, although I asked for a lot more.

Happy with what I will get and also happy to hold what I currently have and just watch it rise back to the magnet of 150?

I thought the colour of the new passport was wrong so Gov could sue them for breach ;-)

I would be sympathetic, but there are basic legal issues - having awarded the contract on a tender process they would be sued by the winners.

I'm sure someone will have a look, but can't see it myself.

lt my cheque was presented immediately when it was received. At least I know my application got there safely. I've already shorted my entitlement together with my best guess of what I'll get in the excess application. I'd actually forgotten I had a few left after selling out before lockdown so this is an unexpected bonus in these difficult times.

Yes, coming off the 200 day ma.

I have signed up for the 110s, and plenty more than entitled to, deadline is about now (11am) and therefore anyone selling intending to replace with the 110s is done - so fewer sellers now...

I had looked through the documents I was sent but didn't spot that bit - Thanks.

So it looks like 0800 on 7th July 2020 for trading of the new shares. I wonder if the opening price will be adjusted for opening?

When will the new shares be available to trade?
I believe the last time to take up entitlement is today but I'm wondering when those shares will be able to be sold in the market?

Sounds like Pigswill was sucked in at the top and is nursing a huge loss. Well as huge as it can be in a 2k portfolio. All relative I guess.

Some people might have already applied in the open offer for their entitlement plus some excess and at the same time shorted some of their expected position to lock in the turn. Kicking myself for not doing this at 150p on Friday.

200 day ma coming up again - decision day on the 110p placement option is tomorrow (per HL).

Found it - odd character, but relatively harmless, as long as you don't go with the price forecasts.

Looking to get back in, where is the placing price going to be at?

111p is your entry.

Hod, I do hope you are right then I can buy another 100k...

HodHasharon3 Jun '20 - 09:37 - 814 of 1012
I'll be right behind you.

The shares didn't go below 110.

No, was not holding after offloading on Friday - just watching it until later in the afternoon and quietly sneaked in for some before the close.; from my perspective that was a 12p or 8% pullback for a gain to be made all over again. Losing count of how many times now.

Also put my order in for Wednesday closing date on the 110 - asking for a lot more than the entitlement.

RE HodHash, take a look back to 2nd or 3rd June, as it was soaring - I think he called for a number of closing prices within about 10 minutes; he's apparently a trading guru, and staying off benefits accordingly. Entrepeneurial stuff. Well it would be if his price calls bore any resemblance to reality.

Regarding an ---- " Immunity Certification Scheme " as mentioned by De La Rue on june 1st 2020 in a trading update.

On the BUY thread today :

buywell posted on this thread that Russian Scientists had stated covid-19 immunity may only last for 4 to 6 months.

A recent clinical study done in China published june 18th 2020 , comes out with 2 to 3 months

Clearly this study puts the whole ethos of issuing a '' Covid-19 clear '' passport into the long grass.

The world needs to be given the answer to the question :

Can you catch Covid-19 twice ?

buywell believes that will be Yes

and then the follow up question

How long is someone likely to remain immune after having had Covid-19 ?

buywell believes that answer will be fudged , when it could be 3 months to 6 months or possibly a year we just don't know yet.

But within say another 2 months the data on those that acquired Covid-19 in Jan and Feb and March and April and have acquired it AGAIN will be in.

Remember also there is a mutated strain of the coronavirus around now which is much more transmissible that the original first virus in Wuhan .

Significant bounce in a dubious market. Sold some, still got some.

Becoming a nice trading share, albeit volumes a bit light and can't be done for big stakes. Mustn't grumble though...

Incidentally, to the guy the other day asking about selling or not - did you hold on? Or sell some today?
Hopefully you didn't follow this sage:
