Crashing back down again now.

They are desperately hanging on. New funding just prolongs the agony. 3D TVs are yesterday's news. It is UHD TV now. There is almost no 3D broadcast now anywhere in the world. This is worth 0p and their demise is at hand. 3D mobiles/tablets never happened. Be very careful not to get suckered in on this stock.

Chris Yewdall added:

"Following our product demonstration at CES, we have received a great deal of positive feedback from prospective clients and I am optimistic that this will convert into further licensing deals for our latest advanced imaging technologies. We are already engaged in technical and commercial discussions with customers in the mobile market to integrate some of our new apps on their smartphones and tablets."

Hi Mr Dross

Two words spring to mind - Light & Bushel. The light is now flickering above the bushel.

At this price, a betting person would put £500 or £1000 or so into these shares and wait for a halving or doubling of the price, which will happen soon, for sure. If it halves, either shrug and ignore it, or sell out recouping half your stake (less dealing); and if it doubles, either sell the lot and take the profit or sell half and be in for free(less dealing).

Worth a punt ... :)

(And yes, I'm holding.)

Seems like a vote of confidence in the company.

The company's shares have been marked down on fears that they might run out of cash. Seems like those fears have now been allayed.

Can now concentrate on the future. Will only need one or two deals to put a rocket up the share price

The mistake this company has made is being public. Look at the number of $1bn+ valuations placed on pending IPO's in the US for various tech companies where there in not even a product to sell yet. Publicity is a dual edged game.

Anyway. Made my investment already and little value in cashing out now so might as well stay for the ride.

Only upside is that PC revenues are not stripped out of both sets of results.

So with the cost savings and TV growing at 15% p.a., they should be on the way to break even in the following year.

So it is really up to whether they can commercialise the new products.

however, the equity funding raising will probably be massively dilutive.

Given they just stated that FY is expected to be a £800k loss v £500k loss last year, I'm not sure what upside you're expecting when that is confirmed.

Companies on the US otc marker vary greatly in their quality. DDD is listed on the OTCQX market, which is supposedly for the highest quality companies who have provided financial information and have a sponsor, a firm of lawyers in this case; so that's something. However, OTC market companies are speculative and very few prosper very much. As I said a while ago, this is a gambler's share: buy it and be prepared to either lose your stake, or treble it or better in a short while (a few months IMHO)

I'm still holding, but I have trimmed that holding to reduce potential losses.

On the 10th. May 2015, the price will change a lot when the full 2014 results are published. I don't know in which direction the price will go, but I've placed my bet, and will wait and see ...

oh well humble pie time - blow me down with a feather - how can such a small co justify the costs of dual nationality quotes? Anyway. Still think this will stock end up better placed than they are now. Been in it for ever (it seems) so will see it through.

I assume this is what was being referred to.

Zipless - one of the easiest things to debunk - its not listed in the US, never has been. DDD US is a completely different company - does 3d printing.

Well they made $0.20 revenue per unit in H1, so if that has been maintained, FY revenue will be c. $2.6 million. The 2013 figure was $3.4 million, so even with this c. 20% increase in shipments, it looks like they will post a >20% fall in revenue.
